It was close to town to access restaurants shops etc and walking around the lake etc
We were at the very back of the property another house is right in front . It was private with good curtains though.

Pembroke Villa is on the edge of Wanaka, within walking distance of the town and beach. We loved the sunshine, the quiet (we were in a backyard villa off the main street), and the access to the walk along the beach. The house was comfortable with room to relax and enjoy cooking a dinner.
The sink in the bathroom was a bit plugged up, but they were fixing that.

No air conditioning - end of March, unpleasantly warm and stuffy especially by the afternoon. Hard to lock the door, sometimed the keys just didn't work. From the main bedroom you have a view of the cottage wall and the garbage bins, so disappointing.
