About this house rental
This quintessential and renovated ‘Sconset cottage is a unique rental offering. The combination of ‘Sconset charm with updated amenities makes this the ultimate summer destination. With close proximity to ‘Sconset Village, the Bluff Walk and the beach this property is in the perfect location. Spend your days dining at the Chanticleer, meeting friends at The Summer House or enjoying a scenic bike ride to Sankaty Head Lighthouse.
First Floor:
The first floor opens from a screened-in porch and beautiful french doors that flow into the open living room. Walk into an open screened in porch. Through french doors the porch flows into the living room to offer a fresh ocean breeze. In the rear of the cottage the fully updated kitchen offers granite countertops, a small kitchen table and a very unique Spanish tiled floor. There is a full bath with a shower and laundry. Off the kitchen is a large deck with great furniture. The master sits on the west side of the house. Window AC units in the living room and bedroom.
Second Floor:
The second floor offer two twin bedrooms that share a large bathrooms with cathedral ceilings. Both bedrooms have window AC units.
Lower Level:
The basement is unfinished and holds a laundry set and an extra fridge.

Exactly as booked and smooth, helpful people to deal with. High points of big yard, spacious kitchen for gathering, gas grill and outdoor shower. Close to bluff walk and easy walk to market and beach. We had a great time!

We stayed at the this property with 4 other family members while we were on island for a memorial service. The home is comfortable and nicely appointed with a modern kitchen and ample linens, towels, etc. There is loads of outdoor space which was popular with our nephews who were staying at a nearby property which didn’t have a whiffle ball sized lawn. The check in process was smooth and the house manager was very responsive to our inquiries. We look forward to our next stay!

This was our 2nd happy year renting the Blue Whale, and we definitely recommend! The property is clean, attractive and well-equipped. It has a wonderful location in Sconset - close enough to walk to the village center & the beach - AND it offers a nice large yard and outdoor living space. The combo makes Blue Whale a real gem for a family with children. We hope we can come back!

We rented with young children and the home was great. The large yard offered kids room to play and we were a short and pretty walk down to the beach, playground, Sconset Market and Claudette’s allowing us to avoid the crowds in Town. We will definitely consider staying here again.
