The "Sun Flower" a Mid-Century Modern Vacation Home

Great price for a long weekend in Albuquerque. The house is exactly as described on the website. The house is roomy & clean. The owner was easy to get a hold of and so helpful. We loved the space!

We have stayed in this house before. The house is great with a lot of room. The area is really nice and quiet and walking distance to a Target.

The hot tub and patio were great. We really enjoyed that space.

We booked this property for over a week based on the great online reviews. It was right in the area of town we wanted to be in. The house itself is tucked back in a quiet neighborhood and we felt safe here. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our stay. The entire home smelled musty and dank. No amount of airing the house out/Febreeze/candles helped. The carpeting is old, worn, and stained. There is a broken window in the kitchen, shredded screen doors for the sliding doors to the bedrooms...just didn't seem like a lot of upkeep to the property. Attempted to reach the property manager and didn't get any response back. The sheets on the beds were so worn that they were translucent; we could see the mattress through them and they were so uncomfortable. We actually slept in blankets we had brought with us in the car. There were two spoons in the entire kitchen so we had to buy plastic utensils to eat with. Didn't even dare to try the hottub given the rest of the house, and we had been looking forward to that.We travel often and so wanted to enjoy our stay here, but unfortunately, this is the first review we have ever written for a VRBO where we can definitively say we won't be coming back.
