This charming, clean and comfortable home in the Village of Duval is in the perfect location, ideally situated for folks who want to take full advantage of all The Villages has to offer. In the geographic center of The Villages, you will be halfway between Lake Sumter Landing and Brownwood Paddock, just minutes away from either using the owner’s golf cart. You can listen to free live music every night of the year, enjoy restaurants and shops, and conveniently participate in your favorite activities.
Stay Awhile Cottage is perfect for one or even two couples: It features TWO king bed master suites, brand new plank floors throughout, and tasteful furnishings to keep you comfortable and cozy. You will feel right at home as you walk in the door. Relax in the open and sunny living room, or on the large, breezy lanai, which is screened and with windows for year round comfort.
There are two luxurious sleeping areas: EACH bedroom is furnished with a super-comfortable KING BED for an amazing night’s sleep.
The fully supplied kitchen has everything you will need for a quick breakfast, a gourmet dinner, or anything in between. There is filtered water at the sink and a coffee pot (drip or Keurig) with starter supply of coffee/filters, blender, microwave, and everything else your kitchen at home offers. There's even a wine bar (BYOW!)
Relax in your down time in two comfy recliners or curl up in bed and watch your favorite shows on any of three cable-connected TVs, stream movies on demand through the included Comcast streamed tv service, and even connect to your Netflix or Amazon Prime or other services on the Roku TVs.
Life in The Villages is sweet: You wake up to birds singing as you sip your morning coffee or relax after golf, tennis, or pickleball on our fabulous 24’x12’ lanai. This property was pristine. It truly felt like home. Our stay was short so we did not take advantage of the amenities. We certainly would have because there is so much to do in the villages. Our host provided so much information about the property prior to our visit. If I had a question, he always responded ASAP I will recommend this home to others and hope to stay there again

Perfect 2-BDM house in a perfect location. Great neighborhood conveniently located to both Brownwood and Lake Sumter Landing. House was very clean. Golf Cart was a huge bonus. I would stay here again. Thank you for being such great hosts.

Perfect space for two couples. Only negative for me was that the property backs onto fairly busy road.

Property is as good as advertised. In the same message we were told the property is ready to check in we were told the washing machine broke the previous weekend, and could we stay to let the repair man in and stay until he leaves. After a false start, repairman shows up later than scheduled and left 2.5 hours later. Meanwhile we had to reschedule our plans. Probably should receive a partial commission for managing the property that day.
