Steps from Commercial Street, this gracious 4-bed, 2-bath Antique Cape (circa 1749) is located on one of the most picturesque streets in the heart of P-town's Gallery District. This restored historic home features wide polished pine floors, beamed ceilings throughout, and incredible views of the monument, library tower, and rooftops overlooking the Provincetown harbor.
The home is in pristine condition with an open kitchen that leads into a spacious dining room that is tastefully furnished with a restored barn wood farm table that seats eight comfortably. The sunny living room has a deep cushioned couch and chair. Windows overlook the back deck and garden. You can enjoy a warm fire on a chilly night in front of the oversize fireplace. Two large bedrooms are situated on the first floor and two additional large bedrooms on the top floor. A Jack and Jill style bathroom connects the top floor bedrooms. All 4 bedrooms have queen sized beds with tasteful linens.
The back door opens to blue stone patio lined with beautiful plantings of sea grass, Japanese maple trees, potted lavender and umbrella pine trees. There are 3 separate areas to the backyard for your enjoyment. A dining area with a large table and market umbrella surrounded by teak chairs and benches. A lounging area with Pottery Barn furniture; coffee table, a sectional with ottoman, cushions and attractive throw pillows. In addition, there is an oversize patio umbrella if shade is needed, along with teak side tables and Adirondack chairs for plenty of seating. Tucked away among the bamboo and lilac tree, is a reading nook, with 3 Adirondack chairs and market umbrella, that add to your private oasis. Lastly, enjoy the new outdoor shower, ideally situated to capture the rays of the sun!
There is parking for two cars and plenty of room in the yard for bikes, kayaks, and beach toys.

This place was great. It has everything we (4 adults and 3 kids) needed including four good sized bedrooms and is in an excellent central location. The property manager was very helpful and responsive.

You cannot beat the location of the rental. That combined with a lovely backyard to relax in and all the necessities in the home, it’s the perfect place to stay! Terry is easy to communicate with as an added bonus.

My family and I had a wonderful week-long stay in this beautiful home. The house is a perfect combination of historical beauty with modern amenities. Terry is a fabulous host who made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The location is also perfect, just steps from the shops and restaurants on Commercial Street, yet so quiet on this lovely side street.
