The Space:

Fairview Apartments sits on a peaceful hillside above Putiki Bay, offering two newly built one-bedroom apartments connected by an internal door. It’s a flexible setup that suits couples, friends, or small families wanting comfort and privacy while sharing a relaxed island base.



Each apartment is self-contained, with its own kitchenette, full bathroom, lounge, and outdoor deck space. Interiors are modern and uncluttered, with premium linens, Smart TVs, and everything needed for quiet mornings or easy evenings at home. When booked together, the internal connecting door transforms the two apartments into a single two-bedroom retreat, giving guests room to spread out while keeping spaces private when needed.



The property sits at the end of a long gravel driveway, set back from the road with views across the bay and greenery around. It’s close to beaches, vineyards, cafés, and walking tracks, yet tucked away enough to feel still and quiet.

Guest Access:

Guests have private access to both apartments for the duration of their stay. The spaces are joined internally by a connecting door, allowing guests to enjoy the property as one larger two-bedroom apartment or close it off for extra privacy.



Each apartment includes its own kitchenette, bathroom, and living area, making it easy for two couples or friends travelling together to share the property while still having space to unwind.



On-site parking is available, and the property is accessed via a long gravel driveway leading down from the main road.



Check-in is from 2:00 pm, and check-out is by 10:30 am. Early check-ins or late check-outs may be available for an additional fee, depending on bookings. If the property has a same-day turnaround, these options may not be possible, but confirmation can be provided closer to arrival



The Neighborhood:

Fairview Apartments sits close to cafés, food stores, beaches, and vineyards, making it simple to explore the island.



For breakfast or coffee, Island Grocer and Akito are nearby. For lunch, Arcadia at Palm Beach is a relaxed local favourite, and for dinner, Fenice in Oneroa offers Italian plates in a casual setting. The Oyster Inn provides a more refined option with sea views and seasonal dishes.



Oneroa Village is a short drive away for boutiques, galleries, and essentials. A short drive takes you to Mudbrick, Cable Bay, and Tantalus Estate, all offering wine tastings and long lunches among the vines. And for something a little more relaxed, The Heke Kitchen, Brewery & Distillery is a favourite, casual plates, craft beer, and a live DJ on Friday afternoons through summer.



Getting Around:

Getting around from Fairview Apartments is simple. The nearest bus stop is just a minute’s walk away, connecting you to the Matiatia ferry terminal, Oneroa Village, and Onetangi Beach on regular routes. It’s an easy, relaxed way to explore the island without needing a car.



If you’ve brought a vehicle, there’s on-site parking, and most of Waiheke’s highlights including beaches, cafés, and vineyards are within a ten-minute drive. E-bikes and scooters can also be hired nearby if you want to take things at your own pace.



However you travel, the island feels connected and simple, buses glide along coastal roads, taxis are available when you need them, and every trip comes with a sea view.
