About this house rental
Stunning lake views and fantastic sunsets. There is a large deck, screened in porch for eating, playing games and relaxing. There is a spacious living room with a flat screen TV, cable TV, DVD player and a CDplayer/Ipod dock. The living room has a dining area with seating for eight. Three Sliding Glass Doors offer a wonderful lake view and open out to the deck. The fully equipped kitchen has a counter for eating with four stools. Dining area has seating for six and a door leading to the screened porch. The master bedroom on the main floor has a queen bed and French Doors leading to the screened porch. Master bath has double sinks, shower, jet-tub bath and a large walk in closet. Bedroom 2 on the main floor has a queen size bed and closet. Bedroom 3 also on the main floor has a queen size bed and closet. The finished walkout basement has 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. One bedroom has one set of bunk beds and two twin beds, the second bedroom has a queen bed. There is a ping pong table, Foosball table and TV. Three sets of French doors lead out to a shaded porch area with a table, four chairs and a hammock for relaxing. The stairs lead down to the dock. The water is approximately 12 feet deep. Perfect for swimming and floating. The dock offers both sun and shade on those hot days. Enjoy lunch on the waters edge at the picnic table. There is an outdoor bar at the dock with 4 bar stools and a mini frig. You tie up your boat or wave runner to the cleats or whips that are provided. There are two kayaks for your use for a little bit of exercise or a scenic view out in the cove. There are chairs, floats and noodles available for your use in the boathouse. There is a private boat ramp in our subdivision if you should bring your own boat and/or wave runner. There are marinas on the lake that offer both boat and wave runner rentals. The home is conveniently located close to Food Lion, Ace Hardware, gas station, restaurants and more.

We enjoyed this beautiful home, definitely would love to linger longer! We have a college and teen daughter and we hosted our family and their friends! The basement is a perfect hang-out for teens with ping-pong, foosball, and television! The upstairs has several dining areas and an amazing screened porch allowing us to spread out but sill feel connected.Our favorite part was the dock. We’ve stayed at Lake Gaston several timed and we really like this cove. It is perfect for kayaking and swimming, but allows easy access to the main lake for jet skiing. The home included access to a private boat ramp nearby which made it super easy to get watercraft into the lake.Wonderful home and gracious host!

This is a beautiful home with amazing sunset views over Lake Gaston. The community is quiet and surrounded by woods and deep water. The home was meticulous and well stocked for our needs. One of our favorite features was the deck and attached screened porch. Kids and adults alike enjoyed jumping off the dock, kayaking and floating on the tubes provided. We rented a pontoon boat for a couple of days from Eaton Ferry Marina and added to the enjoyment. The beds were comfortable and the floorplan worked well for all of our family members, including children aged 11 to 20, parents, aunts & uncles and grandparents. The ping pong table and other games and activities provided hours of entertainment. We had an amazing week at Linger Longer!

This house was perfect for our two families to stay for the week. Great space, well appointed, fun activities - kayaks, ping pong and foosball. This is a beautiful spot on the lake with spectacular sunset views. Plenty of good dock space with comfortable loungers, shade, fans, frig. We enjoyed our meals on the screened in porch. We all certainly wished we could Linger Longer. Highly recommend!!

Linger Longer is a lovely place to stay at Lake Gaston. It is well equipped, comfortable, has wonderful views of the lake and the dock is the place to be all day. I went with my husband and a couple of friends. We had plenty of room, the screened in porch was one of our favorite places to be. We also enjoyed the provided kayaks. It is well taken care of and clean. I look forward to returning to enjoy it longer.
