Nestled on the shores of beautiful Lake Gaston, Lizard Cabin is back on the rental market after a major renovation, ready to welcome guests seeking comfort, adventure, and breathtaking lake views.
From the moment you step inside, you’ll be surrounded by warm wood tones and natural materials, with custom furnishings crafted from live edge, driftwood, and other unique pieces—bringing the beauty of nature indoors.

Lizard Cabin sits on one of the largest flat lakeside lots on the lake, giving you plenty of space to spread out, unwind, and make memories. This newly remodeled log cabin features an expansive kitchen with brand-new appliances and a huge island—big enough for 9 people (or more, if you sit “side saddle” like we do).
The view? Absolutely stunning. Step through the front door and take in the wide-open lake views, with the sunrise right across the creek. Start your mornings on the spacious 25x30 covered porch, coffee in hand, as you take in nature’s daily masterpiece.

NOTE: In order to get to/from the main lake from the cabin, you go through a culvert/tunnel. It is 10' wide and 6' tall at normal water levels. If you have a boat with a large tower, measure the overall height. It is not difficult to get through, just put bumpers out and go slow.
Must be 25 years old to rent. No charging of Electric Vehicles allowed on property. A public charging station is located at Lake Gaston Coffee.
PS - The pet fee is only $100 per pet. That is significantly cheaper than boarding. If you do not pay the pet fee, and we find evidence of a pet or pets, we will ask you to pay the additional at the end of your stay.

Lizard Cabin was absolutely perfect! Everyone loved it. The owners gave thought of everything you could possibly need and are super nice! Best cabin on the lake!
