Fantastic holiday home in quiet Lumbarda

Good location. Great views of the sea. Very close to the sea. Great outdoor seating area and sofas to enjoy the scenery. Ice machine in the house, great for the hot weather. Air conditioning- quiet and effective. Comfortable beds. Netflix!!

More information in the welcome pack about local restaurants, beaches and activities would have been useful but owner was only a text away if required.

So much more than we had even wished for!

We loved everything about House 4 You! All our needs were catered for, and more. The pictures online actually don't do the property justice - it is beautifully appointed, impeccably clean and well maintained. The terrace is idyllic and Gordan was so helpful and showed us everything we needed to know on arrival. The house is located about 10 min walk from the main village, shops etc. but there is a beautiful swimming area just metres from the front door, and a local restaurant around the corner We travelled with an 18-month old, so split our time between the rocky swimming spots and the sandy beach in the village, which was perfect for us. Gordan also brought some of our group out for the day on a boat excursion, which was a real highlight. A boat taxi to Korcula Town (about 30 mins) is also a great way to see some of the surrounding islands and the town itself is lovely for dinner. We really fell in love with Lumbarda and House 4 You, and will certainly be back!

Not really a gripe with the property, but the stairs are a little tricky with a toddler. We blocked them off during the day and he soon forgot to try and climb them. No other complaints!

Perfect house for a longer stay

This house was the perfect place for our 3-week stay in Lumbarda. Clean and tidy, extremely well-equipped, and an amazing terrace to enjoy the beautiful weather and views. Gordan and his wife were the best hosts you could wish for.

Excelent

We had a one week stay at Gordan's but at the end we regretted it wasn't longer! It was our best experience with an accommodation ever: everything was sparkling clean, the house it's so comfy that feels like home and the host is ideal. The location is very good as well, just by going down some stair you reach the sea and you can have a quick bath there. But we preferred going further, in a more savage place in Lumbarda for longer stays by the sea. And Lumbarda is the nicest place in entire Korcula! Gordon an his family are the nicest hosts we've met: he was always eager to help, but without being intrusive. If you have any curiosity or request, you just have to ask and he'll help if he can. We wanted to try local food, so Gordan's wife cooked an amazing dinner for us. We liked it so much, so we had two more dinners and each exceeded the previous one. After this experience, we compare every accommodation with this one, it's like a standard for us. But couldn't find something even close to it yet. We're definitely considering to return there in the future.

Oustanding property and host in a stunning, beautiful location. Hard to beat!

There are a lot of good things to say about the property, location and host. We have been fortunate to stay in many lovely locations around the world and have stayed in some truly lovely facilities. This rates with the best in our opinion. Host was quick to respond and on arrival gave us a good run down not just on the house, but the area and its amenities, wines, restaurants, etc. House is well appointed in every respect, comfortable, spacious and well set out - both indoors and outdoors. We were very comfortable and was hard to leave. Highly recommended.

Luxurious living in faboulus Lumbarda!

Me and my family (total of 6 adults and 3 kids) stayed in House 4 You to celebrate my fathers 60:th birthday and we loved the house from the first moment we arrived! Everything from the interior, the spacious living, to the magic view from the balcony and the superb terrace where we all could relax during long days and nights exceeded our highest expectations. Lumbarda are the perfect stay for everyone that want to explore the genuine Croatia with its wineyards, crystal clear water, sorrounding mountains and splendid food! This was my 6:th time exploring Croatia and I can certainly say that I've never stayed in a more peaceful and beautiful place. Gordan and his family are the most amazing hosts ever helping out with everything possible needed and we missed everything about House 4 You from the moment we left. Maison charmante

Maison spacieuse, très propre, très bien équipée et hyper confortable. Accueil sympathique de Gordan le propriétaire, avec plein d'attentions. Le quartier est très calme, à 50 mètres de la mer, dans le charmant village de Lumbarda.
