Excellent wine and location

We had a large balcony overlooking the town and bay. It is perfectly located. You can walk to all stores, beaches and restaurants. Silvana, our hostess was magnificent. We really enjoyed staying here.

perfect location near the sea and the village

The apartment is perfectly located, just a 5-minute walk to the main shops and restaurants. It is literally 20 meters from the sea, where you’ll also find a beautiful spot to swim. The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to help with anything you need. On top of that, the terrace is absolutely unique and impressively spacious — a real highlight of the stay.

Beautiful, relaxing, peaceful and a wonderful host!

Beautiful location, absolutely stunning views from the balcony and the lovely host was so helpful and she makes the most amazing marmalades and jams and she sent us away with one because we loved them so much! Beautiful place to stay and we loved their winery too. Lots of restaurants and places to swim within walking distance. Some of the most amazing blue water we have ever seen. Oh also, a great breakfast spread with meats, cheeses, fruits, jams, toast, coffee etc. All in all, fantastic and we’ll be back I’m sure!

The only thing was that the fan in our bathroom didn’t work and there were no windows so literally no ventilation so it got very hot in there! Otherwise spot on!

We enjoyed staying in this quiet part of Croatia away from the crushing crowds of Dubrovnik and busier locales.

This family run, accommodation and winery is run by a lovely family who are friendly and eager to share about their wine business. They also offer wine tasting in the afternoons on their beautiful veranda. We enjoyed everything about our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Guest House Lorvic in Korčula! The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Mornings were a real treat enjoying a delicious breakfast outside with beautiful views was the perfect way to start each day. The location is ideal, just a short and easy walk to Lumbarda town, where we found great restaurants and lovely beaches. Another of the highlights was Lorvic is also a family-run winery, the wine tastings were excellent, with some truly delicious local wines in a relaxed and friendly setting. And of course, a huge thank you to our amazing host, Sylvana, who was incredibly warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Korčula, we’d come back in a heartbeat!

Relaxing. Walk to beaches and town.

Location was perfect, next time we will not bring a car but rather take a ferry. We could walk or cycle everywhere and taxis (incl. boats!) are easy and affordable if you want to go to korcula old town, for example. Hosts are second generation and the winery downstairs was one of our top two favorite in the region. Such a fantastic place to come and relax. Beaches with shade and handrails into the sea are all along the peninsula just outside the hotel. Calm. Peaceful. Gorgeous.

We could have used a kettle in the room and maybe extra seating or desk rather than third bed, but I understand why they added extra bed and some guests would rather have that. Otherwise room was comfortable, breakfast nice, and balcony was absolutely huge with great view.

Perfect stay in the period out of the season. I don't know how it looks when it is crowdy.

Everything: the apartment is big, rooms are clean and spacious, the location, the view from the balcony is nice, and we especially enjoyed the vine tasting.

You have to ask for changing the towels and the sheets, but the host is very helpful.

Very kind and resourceful host. Gave us great tips for beaches and free parking spaces, especially around city Korcula. We really liked that toilet paper and towels, even beach towels, were available in front of the rooms. Also for breakfast they were adjustable enough to accomodate us for vegan milk.

Lumbarda at its best staying here !

What did we like ?? Well, that’s easy,,, EVERYTHING !! On meeting the host Silvana, she was lovely, friendly and helpful, extremely nice lady. On entering the apartment, WOW ! Every picture on the website is exactly as it looks ! Large main room, with large double bed , sofa and armchairs. Kitchen, great size, well equipped, modern cooking facility, and table with two chairs. Bathroom, slightly narrow, but nice shower, and we managed ! Here’s for the knockout bit,,,, The balcony, WOW, what a stunning view 🥰 Table with 4 chairs, had our breakfast there every morning, loved it ! Two loungers , and a clothes rack, so much room on the balcony, its by far the best balcony ever ! The owners have their own winery below , the wine is first class GRK, excellent price too. The property is close to the sea, restaurants and the town. A perfect place to stay, and we ,WILL DEFINITELY RETURN ! Highly recommended, we couldn’t be happier with this choice, loved it 👍🥰

Quiet and Serene

Location: it is my own ignorance rather. I wasn’t aware that one needs to take a taxi to and fro to Korcula. There is a bus but is subjected to fixed time schedule, hence not practical for those who want to catch early ferry to other nearby islands or simply want to focus their travel on Korcula. However, if you do come with car, then no issue at all.

The property was beautiful and well-kept. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea was a highlight, and our room's huge balcony was a great place to relax in the evenings. The owner was always available to help if needed.

Beautiful view from the big terrace. Close to beach and restaurants and local shops. Comfortable big bed and fridge in the room.

This place doesn't provide cleaning service in the rooms. We stayed there for 11 nights and during that time would be nice to get you room cleaned and changed bed sheets. Toilet papers and towels were left in the corridor. Breakfast was just ok, self-service with no hot meals. Also if you came later for the breakfast, sometimes there wasn't any croissants or eggs left and they weren't topped up.

Excellent accomodation in nice environment with great breakfast

The accomodation has a great view from the rooms and it is very close to the water. Great restaurants nearby, city center is in walking distance, not far away. The room is great, huge (!) balcony with nice view. Comfortable bed, functional air condition, fridge is also in the room. The host speaks English well, if you have questions or issues, available to help or provide great advices about the beaches. The breakfast is excellent, home made jams, tea, coffee, meats, breads, eggs, wide selection from many things. Our main reason to choose this accomodation was the breakfast possibility and we loved it. Would go back anytime!

The size of the bathroom in our apartment is sadly very small in width. I'm a generally tall person and the wall in front of the toilet is so close to it, that it is annoying to use it properly, you cannot fit there comfortably. I understand that this is something cannot be changed due to the space possibilities, so we could live with it for our few days but staying for 1 week in this room would be a bit of a challenge because of the bathroom size.

It’s a nice place, in walking distance from the center of Lumbarda. We had the best room, in my opinion, with a big balcony and a very nice view of the sea. Silvana and her family are lovely and they are also in charge of the winery with same name, that is in the family for generations. The wine tasting there is highly recommended!

Excellent location with huge balcony with perfect view out over the sea. Easy to walk into the centre of town, many good restaurants close by and easy walking distance to beaches. Owners were nice and welcoming and gave a free bottle of there own wine on arrival. Would definitely stay again.
