Red Door Samsen Hotel, Bangkok

Conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Khao San Road, this hotel is surrounded by plenty of coffee shops, street food stalls, and fresh juice vendors, making it a great base for exploring Bangkok. The staff were absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. A special thank you to Blink and Dollar, who went above and beyond with their kindness and excellent service. They really made our stay memorable. I would happily stay here again!

The taxi drivers at times found it slightly difficult, but you can wait 1 min away for a grab or bolt.

The staff were lovely. The whole hotel was clean. The room was nice. Daily cleaning and fresh towels. Coffee and water daily. Very quiet neighbourhood but a short walk to ferry, restaurants and khao san road. All in all a lovely experience.

Lots of midgies at the pool. Use mozzie repellent whenever you visit the pool.

The hotel's location is very central, especially between the airport and the central business centre. It is a 5 minutes walk from the Khao san Road night market which makes it easier to access the night market. The breakfast was my favorite thing, very good and a variety of stuff. The staff were so nice, I even left my bags as I was backpacking. Shout out to Moss, I forget the name of the other gentleman and the ladies at the reception

The late checkout was pricey extremely for travelers with a night flight

Location was good as close to many shops and restaurants. The bed was not the most comfortable and the room got super hot at night so we couldn’t sleep too well. Otherwise fine for a one night stay in Bangkok if you’re looking for an affordable option. We didn’t get to use the swimming pool but it looked nice.

Bed super hard and room too hot. Many dead mosquitoes on the floor and in the bathroom.
