Red Door Samsen Hotel, Bangkok

The staff at the Red Door Samsen Hotel were welcoming, attentive and happy to help with any queries. Check-in was easy. Our level 2 room was spotless, spacious, had a lovely balcony and the most comfortable bed of our entire trip. The brekky buffet was absolutely superb with loads of options.

No biggie but we would have preferred the sound of the birds in the banyan tree rather than the music being played in the courtyard

Good hotel in Bangkok old Quarter area that has a swimming pool and restaurant. This is a relatively new purpose built location. I found the staff very good and friendly.

Conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Khao San Road, this hotel is surrounded by plenty of coffee shops, street food stalls, and fresh juice vendors, making it a great base for exploring Bangkok. The staff were absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. A special thank you to Blink and Dollar, who went above and beyond with their kindness and excellent service. They really made our stay memorable. I would happily stay here again!

The taxi drivers at times found it slightly difficult, but you can wait 1 min away for a grab or bolt.

Location was good as close to many shops and restaurants. The bed was not the most comfortable and the room got super hot at night so we couldn’t sleep too well. Otherwise fine for a one night stay in Bangkok if you’re looking for an affordable option. We didn’t get to use the swimming pool but it looked nice.

Bed super hard and room too hot. Many dead mosquitoes on the floor and in the bathroom.
