A true hidden gem in the heart of Bangkok.
Villa Guesthouse feels like stepping 50+ years back in time — wooden floors, shelves full of books, warm golden light, and a peaceful garden that makes you forget you are in a busy city.
The atmosphere is authentic, soulful, and deeply calming. It’s not just a place to stay — it feels like living inside a beautiful piece of history.
The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, with the most charming old-school check-in that makes you feel more like a guest in someone’s home than a customer in a hotel.
If you’re looking for something unique, full of character and heart, this is it.
Truly 10/10. I would come back in a heartbeat.

I would really like to give this traditional Thia accommodation a higher recommendation but I can't. I'm a budget traveler and I'm very relaxed. All I really need is a clean place. I love antiques so the age of things wasn't a problem but the house in general was very shabby. There were sarongs thrown over small curtain rods as curtains in my bedroom which blew off when I turn the fan on. The mattress on my bed was only about 3 inches thick so it was a very hard bed. The towels and blanket were ratty, as was the shower mat going into the bathroom. I seemed to be the only woman traveler there and some of the clientele look like they'd been there for quite a while and made me quite uncomfortable. The vibe was not a happy, friendly one.

Good location, nice courtyard, could use some improvement, night lighting is super dim, no curtains on my sunny window, door latch nearly broken, only 2 bathrooms , a problem when house is full, bathroom needs ventilation. But, good location, reasonable rates, funky old skool atmosphere
