The room size was perfect and very comfortable. The hostel is in a central location, very convenient for reaching the main attractions in Bangkok. The staff were very kind and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

Nothing in particular, everything was good for the price.

- The place was clean and well taken care of - The location was great, there's a 7eleven and a self-service laundry spot right outside, some market stalls with food, clothes etc very close by, even the location of our cooking class turned out to be just a few mins away :) - There were lockers available - Staff was friendly and late check-in was available, as there's someone there all the time - There was a small kitchen with utensils, fridge and a microwave (which was great for us, with all the cooking class leftovers :D)

- I don't know in what part this is the hostel's fault and what part is other guests' choice of fan settings, but sometimes at night we were freezing - the AC was quite strong and with the air movement from the fans added we were literally shivering. But that's just the downside of the hostels - can't satisfy everyone in the room.

Good proximity to bars, local restaurants and the river without being right in the mix of it. Though I don't know if I would stay in this part of BK again, there seems to be more going on south and east. There were some people socialising on our last night but due to low visitor numbers it lacked a social atmosphere and didn't have activities generally.

The double bed was extremely hard. The 20hr sleeper train in Vietnam was more comfortable. There was a pigeon deterrent device somewhere outside which made loud eagle screech noises every 3min from 7am till late. The toilet paper was so thin it almost evaporated. Had to take 1.5m, at a snails pace or it would tear, then fold it 8 times for a single wipe. The room was not cleaned during the stay, no fresh towels or bathroom bin being emptied. No bin in the bedroom just the bathroom.
