Our stay in Piran was great. This apartement was right next to the sea and the view was awesome. Also the guy at reception desk was very helpfull and gave us lots off recomendations of what to do in Piran.

Wonderful apartment in Piran
The apartment is very beautiful, well equipped and the ocean view was perfect. It's located right on the promenade of Piran. We weren't missing a thing and received great tips (restaurant, things to do) during Check-in. Check-in and out is done in a office right next to the fire station (across from Hotel Piran). You'll receive a discount card for the garage Fornače where you can park your car.
Nothing to do with the apartment / the owners: there's another apartment right across the hall from Bora. It has a piano and the ladies who were staying there were hammering on it for fun during the day and were very loud at night.

The stay was comfortable and up to expectations. The location is very good and the apartment is quite modern, well equiped. The host is very kind.
We didn't like the noise from the neighbours, especially at later hours. The walls are too thin, since the building itself is old. If you have noisy neighbours it can be an inconvenience at night.

Disappointing
In a minute you are at the sea with restaurants
Very complicated and long check-in took us almost 2 hours. Piran city centre where the appartment is located you can reach neither by car, nor by taxi. From the nearest shuttle bus station to the appt you have to wear all your luggage on your own, taxi cannot help you. When we arrived we had to check-in on a different place from parking as well as from the appartment. To get there by car you have to pay entry fee 5 eur and cannot park in front of the office, so you have to dropp off somebody in front of the office and wait in the car somewhere else....
The appt is situated in an old building, on 2nd floor. You open the appartment by a code you get from the owner via e-mail. In our opinion the owner could skip from the very uncomfortable personal registration in gis office by sending photos of the travel documents upfront via e-mail/MMS. Parking card could be left in the flat. Would be much easier, more comfortable and quick.
The appt itself was newly reconstructed with several defects: no curtain in the shower corner, no possibility to hang anything in the bathroom, water splushing out of the shower corner, the bathroom very small (when you open the door you cannot move a lot), the floor in the appt is not well done everywhere (missing parapets under the doors, you can hurt your toes if you are not cautious). Positive is the air condioning which you see
In our opinion the appt is not much for Booking.com clients. Maybe more for budget clients of Airbnb, not worth more than 50-60 eur per night.
Booking should require from every provider of the accomodation compulsory objective photos, e.g. : photo of the entry, photo of the bath and WC, photo of parking (if for disposal), photo of a kitchen corner (if for disposal), photo of the floorings.... Not only marketing photos so that the clients really know what they will find on the spot.

Schönes Zimmer! Sehr gute Lage in Strandnähe mit nettem Meerblick! Zugang über eine schmale und steile Treppe mit Gepäck ein wenig sperrig aber insgesamt sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft👏!
Fehlende Haken bzw. Aufhängevorrichtungen für mehrere (!) Handtücher im Badezimmer (- nur ein Aufhängehaken vorhanden;
ein Fernsehgerät, welches nicht funktionstüchtig ist, auch nach Ersuchen um Unterstützung keine Hilfestellung zur Inbetriebahme.

Klein, aber fein im 2. OG
Kleines 1-Zimmer-Apartment an der Punta im Dachgeschoß, leicht mansardiert. Modern ausgestattet/renoviert. Vom Esstisch aus Meerblick. Schlüsseltresor für die Hauseingangstür, Türcode für die Apartmenttüre. Im 2. Stock über eine steile Wendeltreppe erreichbar. Wir haben abends vom Zimmer aus Define gesichtet. Klimaanlage vorhanden.
Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig.
