Hotel Pasela Living Shinjuku

It was close to the train station and close to all 3 convienence stores. I love the prompt response from the staff on Booking.com.

The room was large and beds comfy

Never saw any staff at the hotel

There was enough room for everyone! The room does not get cleaned daily, but the leave clean towels, laundry pods and drinks daily outside. The freezer was stocked with ice cream. We were on our own floor and it was quiet. Breakfast was down the street about a 3 minute walk. Staff was excellent in helping us ship our luggage to the next hotel. Close to buses and subway. There was a selection of face masks in the lobby, we all chose one and had a spa night after walking all day.

There was a plastic cover on the mattress, which made a lot of noise when you shifted through the night. I which I packed or purchased a blanket to go in between to dampen the noise.

Good location

Very small and cramped room. Once we opened suitcases there was literally no floor space left. And nowhere to hang anything. After using the shower the only place to dry off and get dressed was in the hallway. No privacy. And the breakfast was terrible. Just a pot of curry on a heater or some small tasteless croissants. The worst hotel of 7 we stayed in over a 3 week holiday.
