About this house rental
This beautifully appointed summer home has it’s own 20'x40’ pool with lawn areas beyond and is located adjacent to the Miacomet Golf Course, an award winning 18-hole public course with its club house, restaurant, and pro shop. Take a lovely walk, bike ride, or car to the ocean, Bartlett Farm, 167 Raw, and Cisco Brewery... ALL less than a mile away!!!
The floor plan allows for a unique separation of the six air conditioned bedrooms, providing privacy for two families or in-laws. The attached studio apartment has a queen bed, efficiency kitchen, full bath, and ocean views!
The Great Room is suited for large gatherings with decks off either side offering sun, shade, and breezes. The pool areas and grounds offer beautiful settings for dining and relaxation.
This part of the island is named after an area of the island once inhabited by Native Americans referred to as 'Miacomet' or 'the Meeting Place'. This uniquely situated and appointed property offers an array of amenities and access to summer fun. While the pool is fully maintained for your use, the ocean is less than a mile away. While the south shore beach stretches for miles and has several beach accesses, Miacomet pond and Miacomet Beach have a lifeguard.
A staircase with railing gives everyone entrance to the private 40-foot pool. Beyond the enclosed pool area, which is furnished with tables, chairs and chaise, lawn areas provide space for lawn games and relaxation. And… an outside shower... is the best!
The Great Room, a spacious living/family room with cathedral ceiling and loft, is suited for large gatherings to enjoy surround sound music or entertainment on a 60” HDTV with internet/cable access.
Decks off either side of the living room offer sun and shade for different times of the day. On the south facing side, the gas grill and deck furniture provides a great spot for lunch and a nap in the chaise, or a gathering place to enjoys sunsets and the prevailing breeze after dinner.
The kitchen has a gas stove with a conventional/convection oven and an additional conventional/microwave oven. This modern kitchen with an island provides a place for a quick breakfast or a gathering place for guests before dinner. Adjacent is the dining room with a dining table for eight.
The floor plan allows for a unique separation of bedrooms, providing an opportunity for two families or in-laws to have privacy. Off the hallway to the north there is a full bath and three bedrooms: the Master bedroom with a queen bed and its own private bath, the Rose Room with one twin bed, and the Daffodil Room with a queen bed. Off the Great Room are two more bedrooms with direct access to the decks, one with 2 twin beds, and the other with a queen bed.

We had an absolutely lovely time on Nantucket staying at Barbara and Rob’s house. Communication was excellent and the property was lovely. The house had everything we needed - we would definitely stay again.

First The owners Rob and Barbara were so kind and helpful They were attentive during the whole process and answered all of our questions. The property was situated in beautiful Miacomet and close to all of our favorite things to do. The pool area was amazing and a bonus to have after spending the day at the beach or an early morning distraction for our grandchildren ages 9 months,and twin 7 year olds. The house was well equipped and beautifully maintained We will be hoping for a revisit next summer and all 9 of us hope to return and would love to stay longer. Thank you Rob and Barbara for being such wonderful hosts we enjoyed your home and this was our favorite stay on the island over the years we have rented many homes but this is the one. Plenty of space to be together and plenty of space to have some space The abundance of beach chairs umbrellas and coolers was so helpful. The washer and dryer a bonus as well. thanks again. Hope to be back next year Tom and Carolyn

Cleanliness would be an understatement. Abundance of beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. made packing a lot lighter. Unusual layout of the house but it worked well for us.

Our family absolutely loved staying at this wonderful, spacious home for 2 weeks! It had plenty of room for us to spread out as well as to gather together when we wanted to. It was very clean and so well equipped with anything you could need for a ACK vacation! The location is amazing, close to Miacomet golf, Cisco, Miacomet and Ladies beaches, Bartlett Farm, and Cisco Brewery. The owners, Barbara and Rob, could not be nicer or more responsive to any and all questions. You can tell they take great pride in keeping this property pristine, both inside and out. I cannot say enough great things about them and this beautiful home.
