Oro Cavallo

Typische alte Gebirgsunterkunft in gutem Zustand (wegen vieler Neubauten in Krummhübel (Karpacz) seltener buchbar), sehr großzügige schön eingerichtete Zimmer, großer Parkplatz; sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück - kein Buffet sondern von sehr freundlicher Mitarbeiterin liebevoll an den Tischen angerichtet! Gute Ausgangslage für Touren im Riesengebirge. Wenn man auf Internet verzichten kann, auch für längere Aufenthalte geeignet - bei der Buchung erfragen.

Lokalizacja na plus , blisko do deptaka , do parku, do centrum i do przystanku autobusowego . W obiekcie nie ma już restauracji i taras nieczynny . Można posiedzieć przed budynkiem. na terenie hotelu ładnie zielono. Śniadania serwowane , wystarczające, każdego dnia coś na ciepło jak jajecznica. Żabka pod hotelem praktycznie. Hotel nie posiada windy ale to zapisane w informacji. Pokoje urządzone w stylu jak widać na zdjęciach, drewno i komplety wypoczynkowe z lat wcześniejszych. Duzy plus za parking. Właścicielka miła i pomocna.

Nie można korzystać z tarasu , więc zdjęcia na stronie powinny być zmienione . Wszędzie wykładziny dosyć ciemne , co daje klimat troszkę pochmurny w obiekcie.

‘Junior Suite’ (no. 5), was excellent: a large bedroom with a double bed, a reasonably sized living room with a table, a sofa and a TV, as well as tea and coffee-making facilities, a small fridge and a bathroom with a toilet. The bed was brilliant – it was like a king-size bed with a firm mattress and two sets of duvets and pillows. An added bonus was the skylight above the bed, which allowed us to admire the stars in Karpacz’s clear night sky before falling asleep. The bedroom window faces west, so daylight streams in until late, but it does not wake you up with the early morning sun, which I consider a plus. In the living room, we could spread out a large map on the table to plan the next day’s route, and there was also space for a laptop should we need it (by the way – the Wi-Fi worked flawlessly during our stay). The bathroom does not have a bath (unfortunately), but there is a shower cubicle and a large towel rail, which can be used to dry wet clothes in case of rain (fortunately, this did not happen to us). We started every day with an excellent breakfast at 9.00 am, which suited us perfectly. Every day the menu included a hot dish, usually eggs (scrambled) or sausages (quite meaty, very good quality, better than the Cumberland sausages!) with mustard or ketchup to add, accompanied by warm rolls and bread (which you could toast) and butter. Every day there was a selection of fresh vegetables and salads (e.g. the famous Polish ‘Easter salad’ made from boiled vegetables, mainly potatoes, carrots and peas in mayonnaise). You could start breakfast with cereal (3–4 varieties) and milk and a glass of orange juice. To finish, a slice of cake and a piece of fruit (a peach, a banana or a melon) were always served. There was also a choice of tea or coffee. I’m particularly fussy in this regard, as I like to start breakfast with a cup of coffee with milk, and then savour a cup of proper brewed tea – and, to my delight, everything was served exactly as we wished.

Nothing really. It is probably worth mentioning that there is no longer a restaurant at Oro Cavallo (there used to be one, and some people still come here looking for it). The business cards available at Oro Cavallo still bear the inscription: Restaurant – Pizzeria – Hotel, which may be misleading. It is likely that some websites still advertise Oro Cavallo as an Italian restaurant. So please bear in mind that it is now just a hotel (B&B). However, the lady who runs the Oro Cavallo hotel also runs an Italian restaurant about 160 metres (0.1 mile) down the hillside, called ‘Schrupani’ (7 Mickiewicza Street, Karpacz), which serves pizza and pasta, as well as some Polish dishes and desserts.
