HM - The Garden

The location is great. Every major attractions are in walking distance. The apartment is small and cozy. It has everything you need.

The pillows are old and need replacing. I woke up with a sore neck because of the pillows. You can hear the squeaky noise of people walking in the upstairs apartment.

Die Lage war wirklich ideal. Alles war zu Fuß erreichbar. Es gab viele Lokale und trotzdem hat man davon nichts gehört. Die Wohnung war gut geschnitten und für ein/zwei Personen perfekt. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Bett war bequem und mit dem kleinen Garten/Hof war es auch sehr gemütlich. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war auch sehr gut. Haben nachgefragt, ob ich alles habe und gut angekommen bin. Wenn ich eine Frage hatte, kam sehr schnell eine Antwort!

Das Haus ist alt und somit auch hellhörig, man hört die Leute über einem langlaufen und reden. Außerdem jault nachts irgendwo ein Hund. Ohrstöpsel mitnehmen! Der Hof war schön aber ungepflegt. Es wäre schön, wenn man ein bisschen mehr auf die kleinen Details achten würde. Auch in der Wohnung.

It was very tastefully decorated and to a high finish and it was clean. It was also very near to the lovely Cafe Candelabro.

1, the bed was too short for my husband. 2, the quilt was exceptionally thin, the evenings were cool because it was April and there was no extra bedding or blankets. I wrote to ask for extra and I was told I already had a quilt! It took some wrangling to get another. I should be able to regulate myself without being at someone else’s mercy to have a warm nights sleep. 3, The shower which was lovely always ran out of hot water if I washed my hair. My husband had to shower with cold water. 4, The outside space, the primary reason we chose these apartments, did not deliver. There are building works outside from 7.30 am! Pneumatic drills, machines, noise, banging it was unbearable to sit out in. I actually have a video but there is no option to upload it on here. The building noise would stop around tea time, but then early evening everyday, the 2 dogs living above would start constantly barking. 5, Whilst the location is good for somethings, do not book if you struggle with walking any distance as this is right at the top of the hill. All in all definitely not the 5 star experience it is advertised to be.
