Superb
Even if we stayed for the weekend the location is really nice when you want to get away from the city. We've enjoyed our mornings hearing only the sound of the birds and the amazing weather staying on the deck. The kitchen is super equipped and the sofa very comfortable. The host was great and explained in details all the things from the house. If we will come again for sure we will choose the same accommodation.

My advice is not to book this holiday as I have booked twice year on year, once in 2019 for 2020 and in 2020 for 2021. Due to the Covid 19 epidemic on both occasions I was not able to take the holiday due to travel restrictions between Germany and Belgium. I have written emails to the both Booking. Com and these were forwarded to the company who own the Modern Holiday Home in Antwerp Right Beside a Lake. The last holiday was booked for 02.04 till 05.04.2021 and up until this date had no response regarding a refund. The company takes the money and does not care about how you feel STAY WELL AWAY!!!!!!!

Spontane ontvangst van de eigenaars heel vriendelijke mensen, de chalet mooi ingericht en heel rustig, mijn hondje was ook welkom zelfs water en snoepjes stonden klaar ze vond de eentjes in het water heel leuk, de tuin is heel goed afgesloten, ik ben heel tevreden, in september heb ik voor een week geboekt kijk er al naar uit, vele groetjes van Erica en Kenzi

Un havre de paix bucolique et charmant, idéal pour une pause de parfaite détente.
Emplacement incroyable avec une terrasse sur pilotis au bord d'un étang. Calme absolu dans cette zone ou des chalets de weekend ou de vacances sont installés autour de plusieurs petits étangs. C'est aussi le paradis des oies sauvages, et parait-il celui des pêcheurs. Le chalet est spacieux avec un très grand séjour meublé d'un splendide canapé, grande cuisine ouverte, chambre avec un immense placard, et salle d'eau/wc tout en longueur. C'est très bien équipé, joli et très propre. Si vous souhaitez un bungalow standard et sans âme, cela ne vous conviendra pas. On sent que ce chalet a été bâti artisanalement par un bon bricoleur. Le plancher n'est pas vraiment plat, les plafonds non plus, mais l'ensemble est plein de charme avec cette grande baie qui ouvre sur l'étang aux nénuphars. Et n'oublions pas le couple de propriétaires très sympathiques qui vous accueille pour vous remettre les clés de ce chalet n°320 ... précision importante que vous ne trouverez pas facilement avec Booking...
Le lit bombé au milieu a un peu tendance à vous éjecter ... et il est haut !
