We stayed at Park Eksel and overall had a pleasant experience.

The location is very good—quiet, peaceful, and perfect for families. It’s also convenient, only about an hour’s drive to Antwerp or Roermond. As a dog owner, I really appreciated how pet-friendly the place is; it’s a comfortable little house for our dog to stay in. The kitchen is well-equipped with cooking tools, and there’s even a Nespresso coffee machine (you can easily buy the capsules at the local supermarket).

Unfortunately, the cleanliness could be improved. There was some dirt and sand on the floor when we arrived, and the bathroom sink hadn’t been cleaned properly — I had to clean it myself before using it. The vacuum cleaner also had a bad smell, probably because the dust bag was full. In addition, we had to put the bedsheets on by ourselves for the upstairs bedroom, which was a bit inconvenient after a long trip. In the downstairs bedroom, one of the bedsheets was very dirty and had several brown stains, which was quite unpleasant. There was also a misunderstanding between Landal and us regarding the payment. We received several messages saying that we needed to complete the payment (without clear explanation of what was missing) and that our booking might be canceled, even though we had already paid online via Booking.com. After contacting Booking.com for help, Landal reached out and apologized for the confusion.

Great for families

Property was nice and clean, plenty of space for us as a family of four. Lovely play areas with lots for young children to do. Restaurant was nice and perfectly located next to the jumping pillow, splash pad and park so kids could play and parents could relax whilst supervising. Close to swimming lake, lots of cycling paths.

Would be nice if upstairs/mezzanine area had aircon or at least a fan as this did get quite warm but we managed.

One of the best camping sites we ever seen!

One of the best campings we ever stayed in Belgium! we were a big group of 18 and felt so confy there. Modern, clean, aesthetic... It was better than what expected.

A little parking lot close to the bungalow would had been perfect, but so far it was more than wonderful.

Kort verblijf in de natuur en rust

Heel net en rustig park, ideale ligging om te wandelen en te fietsen. Mogelijkheden is het park zijn goed: ontbijt, restaurant, fietsverhuur, klein winkeltje,... Super vriendelijk personeel !

Uren van ontbijt zou gerust vroeger mogen, 8u30 is nogal laat voor de mogelijkheden beetje geluidsoverlast door dunne muren verwarming gaat traag, maar dit staat wel vermeld. vrij smal trapje naar slaapkamer boven

Propere leuke huisjes! Echt super gezellig en veel voor kindjes in de buurt!

Voor alles moest je bijbetalen. Babybed, honden, huisjes naast elkaar. Omdat we niet gekozen hebben om te betalen voor de huisjes naast elkaar hebben ze ons aan de andere kant van het park geplaatst ook al waren er overal huisjes vrij.

La simplicité de l’accueil et du départ. Le local à vélo ou à poussette à côté du logement très pratique. La sympathie du personnel.

Problème de wifi mais finalement résolu. Manque de clarté pour le tri des déchets si on ne connaît pas les usages locaux.

Een park inoprichting.

Mooi gebied om te fietsen en te wandelen.

Het was een park met weinig begroeiing tussen de huisjes , waardoor het héél erg gehorig was. De huisjes waren helemaal hout van binnen. Er is wel airco in de huisjes. We miste hier wel een algemene was- en droogmachine ruimte.

Groenvoorziening, rustgevende omgeving

Het parkeren van de voertuig. Van dr receptioniste mag je je voertuig voor de bungalow uitsluitend parkeren voor laden en lossen. Daarna parkeren op het parkeerterrein. Worden wij plotseling door een werknemer aangesproken dat het nooit de bedoeling is te parkeren voor de bungalow, ook niet voor het laden en lossen. Ik heb de werknemer wel erop gewezen dat als er intern een miscommunicatie is, de klant hier van niet de dupe van mag worden. Dat is dus niet mijn probleem. Ook op de site van booking.com krijg je de indruk dat je wel voor de bungalow mag parkeren.

Rust, gezellig, goede locatie, mindere hygiëne

De rust van het parkje en de sfeer die in het parkje leeft is geweldig. Het parkje zelf is verzorgd en het lekkere en gezellige restaurant in het park is een groot pluspunt. De parkeergelegenheid is een meerwaarde. De huisjes zijn knus, klein, maar gezellig. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig.

Bij aankomst waren er maar 2 van de 4 bedden opgemaakt. De airco was stuk en er was geen verbinding met de TV. De vloer was zeer vuil. Onder het bed vond ik nog een wimper, chocolade en een krulspeld. Bij melding hiervan kreeg ik excuses aangeboden. Melding gebeurde op zaterdag, op maandagmiddag waren de problemen opgelost. Jammer dat het supergezellige terras/ restaurant al sluit om 20u30.

🇫🇷 Nous sommes venu pour Le graspop Metal Meeting à Dessel. 35min de route non négligeable pour être dans ce cadre reposant. Nous avons pu arriver à 2h du matin, récupérer notre logement et code par un opérateur joignable via un téléphone sur place ce qui est très pratique! La clim est bien là avec un week end à 35 Degrés on l'apprécie. Tout est propre, Clean, neuf, moderne, familiale...

Tout était parfait ! surtout au prix où nous avons eut la maisonnette ! Super emplacement, super personnel ! Calme / propre, air de jeux pour les enfants et surtout ils utilisent To Good To Go, super pratique pour préparer les snacks du lendemain !!?

Peut être qu'il n'y ait pas de rideaux opacifiant pour la baie vitrée du salon pour une obscurité optimale MAIS pour nous c'est un détail !

Fijn huisje met mieren

Restaurant en de vriendelijke mensen. De ruimheid van het huisje. Mooie keuken en veel servies en bestek Fijn een codeslot. Geen gedoe met sleutels.

Dat de vaatwasser nog vol stond. Dat er veel mieren zaten in het huisje. De airco, verwarming wordt nergens uitgelegd en we snapten het systeem niet Handdoeken ontbraken. Dat vind ik jammer. Het was huisje nummer 100

Dejlig ferie!

Det var super smart, at der var en lille velkomstkasse med alt hvad en husholdning skulle bruge under et ophold. Utroligt venligt personale.

Småting; det ville være godt med piktogrammer på affaldet så ikke-belgisk talende havde lidt lettere ved at sortere. Der var en slags marked den ene dag, men det så vi først for sent fordi der ikke var reklameret for det. Det var ikke helt tydeligt, om der var håndklæder eller hvordan man skulle tjekke ud.
