The bathroom and all the app was smell ung not nice ….i was keep all the day the window open ! Probably old building and that was the smell problem but inside the app was smell always if i did not keep the window open

The position of the apartment in relation to the old city.
The apartment is decent, but it smells unbearably of sewage, one window doesn't close properly and you can hear the noise that disturbed my sleep. The sofa in the living room is broken and very small, you can't sleep on it.They We were asked for €5 per person tourist tax, and on the official page it was €3. They also asked for the tax for the 2 children, and on the official page it is stated that it is not paid for children under 12 years old.They dont give me the code looker key until paid tax tourist city,I stay with the kids and the luggage in the street until paid.

Avoid at all costs!
If the unpleasant owner actually cared about providing a good experience, this property could have been really special as the architecture is nice.
Where do I start. This property was a nightmare before we even arrived to it. We booked this lovely looking flat because it was advertised as having 1 euro LOCAL parking which sounded great. It turns out this 1 euro parking was in fact not local with it being either over an hour walk away or a 25 minute tram (the owner will lie and call it a 9 minute tram). In fact, the parking is so far away, it actually isn’t in Antwerp. It is literally outside of the city. So when we arrived at the property late at night, we were forced to use the real local parking which amounted to £82 for 3 days.
Then we get onto the property itself. Upon opening the door, you are greeted with the strong odor of poo and must. I am guessing the building must have a sewage issue as our entire flat really smelt strongly to a point where we had to sleep with all the windows open even though it was only a couple of degrees outside.
The flat itself is in complete disrepair. The flooring has holes that children could probably get their feet through, and worst still, the areas that have the biggest holes have been filled with expanding foam. Like the sort you use to insulate a house. Bits of the house such as the window blinds have been repaired with bits of chewing gum and there are even two live wires hanging above the bed.
Then you get onto the host - perhaps one of the most rude and difficult people I have had to deal with. Our interaction started by him demanding more money from us, or else he wouldn’t give us the entrance code to the property. First of all, all costs should go through booking.com, not separately through dodgy bank transfers. The amount he requested was for a tourist tax, which is fine. I understand that lots of cities have this and paid the sum to him so we could actually enter our property. He requested 5 euros a day per person. Upon further checking, the tourist tax for Antwerp is 3 euros a day so he clearly adds on his own price which is unacceptable. We had many issues wh

Ruim, comfortabel en perfect gelegen soon terug
We hebben met vier personen verbleven in dit gezellige penthouse en hebben er een heel fijn verblijf gehad. Het appartement is compact, maar erg cozy en sfeervol ingericht. Bovendien was alles heel proper en perfect schoon, wat meteen een aangenaam gevoel gaf.
De trap is wel vrij steil, maar dat was voor ons geen probleem — we waren goed fit en dat stoorde absoluut niet. Ondanks de beperkte ruimte was het een heel leuk en comfortabel verblijf.
We hebben er echt van genoten. Dank u wel!

Onhygiënisch, misleidend en slecht geregeld, wij zijn eerder vertrokken door de rioollucht.
Niets. Dit appartement was bij aankomst niet geschikt voor verblijf.
Bij de boeking stond dat parkeren in de omgeving mogelijk was voor 1 euro per dag zonder reservering. In werkelijkheid bleek dit een P+R locatie te zijn op ongeveer 30 minuten reizen van het appartement. Dit is misleidende informatie.
Bij aankomst waren de sleutels niet compleet. Wij konden niet naar binnen en moesten wachten tot de schoonmaakster kwam met extra sleutels.
Het appartement rook extreem naar riool, vooral vanuit de badkamer. Deze geur werd zo erg dat wij de tweede dag zijn vertrokken. In eerdere recensies kwam dit probleem ook al terug. Toch werd dit door de eigenaar ontkend, terwijl er meerdere luchtverfrissers in de badkamer en woonkamer aanwezig waren. Dit laat zien dat dit probleem al langer speelt.
Het appartement was daarnaast ernstig vies. Op de foto’s is te zien dat de vloer, plinten en keuken niet schoon waren. Er lagen haren, vuil en oude resten.
Wij wilden annuleren en een andere accommodatie zoeken, maar de eigenaar wilde niet meedenken en bood alleen een late check-out aan waar wij niets aan hadden.

Die Treppe eine Katastrophe, kein Geländer vorhanden, steil und sehr gefährlich. Der angegebene Schlüsselboxcode war falsch, nur Kontakt via WhatsApp möglich. Kurtaxe zu hoch! Würde ich nicht wieder Buchen!

Blisko centrum, spokojna okolica
Miejsce miało być przyjazdem zwierzętom a apartament był na czwartym piętrze stromych schodów. Kompletnie nie nadaje się do przyjazdu ze zwierzęciem. Bardzo gorąco, nie ma klimatyzacji, brak telewizora, nie ma czajnika do zrobienia herbaty. Bardzo duże braki w wyposażeniu. Dziurawa podłoga jest klimatyczna ale kompletnie niepraktyczna. Zakończyliśmy pobyt jeden dzień szybciej, z powodu braku komfortu.

De locatie was prima. Voorzieningen zoals een keuken en de kleine badkamer waren volgens verwachting.
Het begon er mee dat ik geen code kreeg om het sleutelkluisje te openen. Ik heb hier op de ochtend van vertrek al vroeg naar gevraagd, maar geen reactie op gekregen. Bij aankomt gebeld, communicatie moest via app. Blijkbaar hadden we de belasting nog niet betaald (die volgens booking €2,97 pp per nacht zou zijn, wij hebben €5,- pp moeten betalen. Eerst betalen, dan code. Vervolgens moesten we met koffers 4!!! Heeele smalle stijle trappen op. Wij zij goed ter been, maar ik vond het link. Eenmaal binnen was het prima. Schoon op het eerste gezicht waarna ik later in de nok gigantische spinnenwebben zag. Ook was het bloedheet, zonder ventilator o.i.d.

Verblijf is prima maar een niet alles wat in de advertentie staat is waar!
Het huisje was prima, wel moeilijk te vinden dus moesten we even zoeken.
De kamer rook muf, verder stond er in de advertentie dat we voor 1 euro konden parkeren. Maar dat bleek pas van toepassing te zijn na een x aantal dagen bij een parkeergarage in de buurt (en dus niet alleen bij 1nachtje). Toevallig wist ik zelf nog een goedkope parkeerplaats bij de haven, dus hadden we dat maar gedaan. De toeristen belasting was bij booking.com inbegrepen, maar na het boeken bleek dat we nog eens een extra bedrag van 5euro pp aan de host moesten betalen. Dit stond niet aangegeven! Hou hier dus rekening mee, het lijkt allemaal goedkoop maar uiteindelijk valt het dus wel mee.

Mijn verblijf in Cosy Authentiek Penthouse was een absolute ramp en ik raad iedereen af om hier te boeken.
Bij aankomst eiste de verhuurder €10 (2 x €5 pp) extra voor toeristenbelasting, terwijl Booking.com slechts €0,10 per persoon per nacht vermeldde.
-De verhuurder weigerde mij de toegangscode te geven totdat ik betaalde. Pas na discussie werd er ineens een bericht gestuurd met die extra kosten, die eerder nergens te vinden waren.
-De sleutelkluis was leeg. Na bellen kreeg ik een code voor een ander appartement, niet de penthouse die ik had geboekt.
-'s Avonds bleek dat de bovenburen per ongeluk in onze penthouse waren geplaatst en dat de verhuurder al hun spullen zonder hun toestemming in de kelder had gelegd. Een totale puinhoop!
-'s Ochtends was er geen warm water, en de verhuurder reageerde niet meer op berichten.
-Zeer slecht geïsoleerd appartement – veel straatlawaai, moeilijk om te slapen.
Kortom: vermijd deze accommodatie! Booking.com zou deze verhuurder moeten schrappen, want de organisatie is chaotisch, onprofessioneel en onbetrouwbaar.
