Not worth at the price

Overall experience at the Twist was poor than the reviews online. We booked it for 2 nights. It is definitely not kid friendly for sure. On top of it we had number of issues. 1. For four guests there is only one king bed. 2. No extra comforters or pillows available. 3. No room service and no one is available onsite after 5 PM. 4. After hour phone number doesn’t work. 5. There were no toilet papers and couldn’t find a stock anywhere 6. Bed Sheets were pretty dirty. 7. There is a tiki bat downstairs which stays open after midnight and plays loud music which literally shakes the floor. Couldn’t sleep in the bedroom. Overall hospitality was poor and at the cost I booked the experience was very bad. I wouldn’t recommend.

Best stay of our lives, and we’re 70ish years old.

Wow!!! Don’t miss this secret treasure. The twist was immaculate! (We stayed in a “dump” in Las Angeles and left early. Yuk. FYI, cost over double in LA! The staff was fabulous from front desk to cleaning service personnel,handy man. Monteo and Jamie couldn’t have been more wonderful, helpful, and accommodating! The pool was also immaculate! We have travelled all over the world and have never stayed anywhere that we had more fun!

I love Palm Springs.

The midcentury modern interiors were why I booked this place, and they were just what I wanted in Palm Springs. Everything was very clean. The location was excellent; very scenic. The pool looked good. The man on duty in the office was charming.

The texting back and forth for access to my room - complete with pic of my Driver's License! - was maddening after a very long day of driving the back roads to get to Palm Springs. Lesson learned - I should have booked a motel wth staff at a front desk, not an airbnb. Same thing happened with the room that had an ice machine. Also, the cable was quite difficult to deal with, so I finally stopped trying. I guess I'm spoiled by streaming at home.

I enjoyed my vacation and would return here again

The first thing I liked was the location, the second thing I liked was the staff. The manager, and the other assistant that we were greeting us and talking to us when we checked in they were so awesome. I love their vibes and their energy they made the start of our trip so great.

I like that we can go swimming anytime we want, I like that they have giant games for us to play. I like the energy and the vibe that they give, I like that they have patios.

I read up on other reviews, the only thing I’d say is the crack tiles in the shower stalls (which is pretty minor) other than that- everything was great.

Wonderful

Our room was perfect! Very large with a full kitchen and patio with a firepit. We enjoyed the pool and the putting green. A great spot if you have kids! Easy walk to restaurants, bars, coffee, and a short drive to busier spots on the strip. The staff was fabulous! Very friendly and accomodatiing. Parking was free and easy.

Great place for shorter or longer stays.

Great location, comfortable and spacious studio, full kitchen, friendly and supportive staff. Swimming pool and hot tub.

Unfortunately we couldn’t use the laundry room because someone else took a card that gives access to washers. Even though we could use it l, we are still happy with friendly and quick assistance online. We wish the floor in our room was cleaner and shower wasn’t leaking. The rest was perfect. Still highly recommended!

Awesome stay that felt like home away from home

Matteo was phenomenal and took amazing care of us the entire time. At one point our water wasn’t running hot and I’m not kidding when I say they appeared at our door 30 seconds after texting them and fixed it immediately. We stayed several nights and it was so nice to see them pressure wash the ENTIRE property before the weekend rush. The entire property was well taken care of and clean. This spot felt like a home away from home and we will be back many many times. I wish I could remember the other manager’s name because the two guys made our stay AMAZING. 🤩

Amazing stay! The room was so cool and very Palm Springs. It was clean and had a nice balcony, the bed was huge and so comfortable ! The room had a kitchenette and everything you would need for eating and drinking in your room. The pool was great! And the staff were friendly. I’d definitely stay here again

Fabulous funky place to stay with comfort in mind.

Fabulous funky hotel. Beautifully presented and we just loved the styling. We particularly loved the bed, comfy and perfect. Having a full sized kitchen so we could cook was the icing on the cake. The pool area is fabulous, and having the big washing and dryer machines were a bonus. The staff here are fantastic. Jamie and Mateo were so friendly and gave us lots of tips of where to eat, get the best coffee, and entertainment. If ever we return to Palm Springs we will be booking here. Wish we could have stayed longer.

I loved this quaint hotel so much! I had a very spacious room on the first floor with a private outdoor patio. The mid-century decor is so charming and definitely captures the spirit of Palm Springs. Comfy bed, modern shower, full kitchen, huge TV -- everything you need for a relaxing getaway! The staff was so friendly and welcoming too.
