comfortable, light, quiet, clean top floor appartment, which is full of character.

Location a short 15 walk from the station Ghent St Pieters, and 15 mins the old town. Bar on the corner, excellent Italian restaurant over the road, supermarket close by. Quiet, light airy clean comfortable bohemian appartment with bonus of an outside rooftop area. Bedroom has a sink in the corner. The appartment is at the top of the building. Shower is 3 flights down stairs which is no problem, and the toilet a further 2 flights down which may be of some consideration. The host is excellent, communicative and helpful.

Lovely apartment in Ghent. We stayed 3 nights and it was perfect for our needs. The living room and bedroom are very spacious and nicely decorated. The terrasse overlooks the city and we were lucky enough to enjoy some sunshine during our holiday. Shower and toilets are respectively on the first and second floor, where the room is on the third. We don’t have mobility issues and we came home in the evenings, so it wasn’t a problem. The main door is shared with a pub where you can eat tasty (and gluten free as I’m celiac) fries.

Great stay!

We loved the place. Yes, there are some stairs that you need to climb and the bathroom is in a different floor than the beddrom, but if that is not a problem for you is a really nice stay. We felt welcomed and really comfortable, its close to the center of the city and there are plenty of shops nearby. There is also cheap paid parking nearby. We defenitely recoomend it! the views from the little balcony are super nice!

There is no place in the room to clean dishes so maybe if you staying for more than a couple of days could be something to think about it, but the truth is that is a room so its not something it should have, its more a nice to have. Its honestly a nice place to stay for a few days.

Very friendly helpful host, lovely decor. Sitting room with roof terrace as well as comfortable bedroom.

44 steps between the room and toilet on the ground floor. We managed fine but this needs to be clearer for old, disabled or very young guests.

I think that the bathroom issue is something worth mentioning in the place description!

Friendly, clean, location was good

Bathroom and shower are not inside your room they're way too far! You literally have to go down 3 floors just to get to the bathroom and then 3 floors up to get back to your bed. And trust me it's not that easy especially when you wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom.This is something definitely worth mentioning in the description for people before they book. Coffee, coffee cream, sugar and nescafe are way too old to use and undrinkable! They're sitting there probably for months.

Superb

There was something with the lock on the inside front door of the property, which I was unable to open last night. I had to call in help from the neighbour to help me to open it. This didn’t work at first but after one hour we managed to open it. The owner was very kind after my 15 attempts to reach her at this time. She was so nice to get breakfast for me this morning to make it up to me. After all, this was a very special and emotional stay and it will always stay in m heart. I will definately come back.

Gorgeous room, would definitely stay again!

Location was good, balcony had a great view, the bed was comfy and the host was lovely!

The only downsides were the WiFi was a little slow and although it was stated that the bathroom was on a lower floor, I wasn't expecting it to be 5 flights of stairs away.
