Great place for cyclists. We were able to store our bikes safely in the garage, which was a huge plus for us. The family was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the pool was such a nice bonus on the very hot days. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. A great stay overall, especially if you’re traveling by bike.
The only thing to be aware of is that the kitchen is shared with the family who owns the property. We were welcome to use both the kitchen and the fridge, and we did not mind at all because the owners were extremely kind and welcoming. It was completely fine for us, but it is useful to know in advance if you are expecting a fully private kitchen.

Quirky old property on the outskirts of Amboise
The room was not fully en-suite. The toilet was across the hall
