The host Stefania is very friendly and helpful waiting for our arrival and giving us many valuable recommendations. The apartment is very spacious with sufficient facilities. The apartment is located near the old town, about 12 min walking distance you reach all sightseeing places. Stefania gives many valuable tips for restaurants, supermarkets, we enjoyed very much.
The apartment is on the second floor of a house without lift. If with heavy luggage it could be rather troublesome. Within the apartment itself, some rooms are located in different floors, for elderly can be hard. One of the bathrooms (on the lower floor) seems with defect waste water flow so that it smells badly. This might be a common problem in big cities in warm season though.

La amabilidad y atención de la anfitriona. La terraza, bonita y muy bien acondicionada. La limpieza y la lencería. Habia fruta, café, bollería y todo lo básico para manejarse de entrada en la cocina, desde detergente hasta sal, azúcar, aceite... No hay lavadora, pero tiene un lavadero muy util y agradable. La localización es buena para moverse por Siracusa aunque las distancias son largas. El aparcamiento es en la calle, pero habia sitio abundante cuando estuvimos.
La accesibilidad de la vivienda. Es un duplex en una tercera planta. Subir maletas cuesta!! Moverse dentro del piso, que tiene abajo los dormitorios y un baño y arriba la cocina, terraza, salón, lavadero y otro baño, requiere estar en buena forma. Una de las habitaciones, con dos camitas, es demasiado pequeña para dos adultos.n

Stefania was a superb host. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well equipped and well located. The AC worked well.
