2 Dartview - Close to the Water, River Views, Ground Floor Access

No view from the bedrooms especially the smaller room. No full length mirror.

Located in the heart of town just a short walk from the high street and the bank of the river. Stunning view of Kingswear up to the mouth of the river dart from the lounge of the property. The property was clean and comfortable in general good condition and had all the necessary amenities. Beds were comfortable though the master was quite creaky. Great water pressure in the shower and the sofas in the lounge were a great place to relax after exploring all day.

Noise was an issue from within building itself there’s little to no soundproofing. Heavy doors being left to slam and heavy footed neighbours in the surrounding apartments. Despite being noted in the guest manual to be considerate of other guests our neighbours were most definitely not. Wi-fi although highly rated in other reviews was patchy at best and would fall right off by 9pm. Parking is a bit of an inconvenience. A lot of Dartmouth is 1 or 2 hrs only - no return. The permits provided are helpful but if one is looking to park up and stay in Dartmouth for a day you’ll need to pay or rely on moving it every couple of hours. The park and ride pass was a blessing. The bus is regular and quick back into town, round trip is approx 30minutes.
