The Hideaway - a charming, unique retreat in Long Ashton, Bristol

The Hideaway was in a great location, easy access to Bristol, on a main bus route, and tucked up a private side road, so it was lovely and quiet. The property was as described and as shown in the photos. Everything was spotlessly clean and in great condition, and very comfortable. There was nice touches like goodies left in the fridge for us, and lovely products in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. As it was a heatwave we were relieved there were two fans, which we really needed! We were able to sit in the garden, which was lovely, with a pond which dragonflies loved. We found it so relaxing and peaceful to be able to sit outside until late into the evening. The Hideaway was a real home from home and enabled us to enjoy our time in Bristol. The hosts were so friendly and communicated well at all times, and were kind enough to let us check out late, which meant we did not have to rush away. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

Very well decorated in a quirky way in keeping with the building . Lovely welcome treats and friendly owners.

As we were there in a heat wave it would have been better if there was a better fridge and a facility to make ice.

Very unique retreat , cosy yet spacious , lovely hosts , great neighbours as seen in photos below!

Aesthetically it was beautiful.

It was extremely uncomfortable. I like a firm bed but that was like laying on a rock. The sofa and arm chair were both also very firm and uncomfortable. Real shame as we were so looking forward to our stay because of how nice it looked.
