About this cottage rental
Inside, you’re greeted by warm, welcoming country-cottage interiors. A roaring log burner takes centre stage in the living room, creating the perfect place to relax on cooler evenings. Guests can unwind on the comfy corner sofa and armchairs, with a film or series on the large 4K smart TV. Next door, the spacious kitchen-diner is tastefully decorated with sage green shaker-style cabinets and fully equipped with modern conveniences, including a new range cooker and handy dishwasher. Traditional features run throughout the home, from exposed wooden beams to cast iron fireplaces. A lovely conservatory offers beautiful views over the garden—it’s the ideal spot to curl up on the sofa with a good book.
Upstairs in the main house are two bedrooms: a well-sized king master and a twin room, both sharing a stylish family bathroom with a luxurious waterfall shower and separate bath. The separate annexe offers guests extra privacy and has the feel of a cosy wood cabin, complete with king-size bed, en-suite with shower, wood burner, and washing machine. Snuggle up in front of the fire or open the wide windows on warmer days to enjoy a seamless indoor-outdoor feel.
The surrounding gardens are spacious and perfect for groups. Enjoy summer barbecues on the patio, read in the swinging chair under the trees, or sunbathe on a lounger. Children will love the freedom to run and play, especially the charming tree swing. With walks from the doorstep through nearby woods, and local spots like Tyntesfield House and Ashton Hill Plantation close by, there’s plenty to explore. Plus, Bristol is just a 10-minute drive, offering the best of both country and city life.
Dogs are welcome with a fee of 20 GBP/dog (max 2). It is on the condition they are not allowed on the soft furnishings or in the bedrooms.
