staff is super friendly. Everything is extremely clean. The infrastructure is superb. The food in the restaurants is very tasty, and the waitstaff is very friendly.

While the room are super comfortable, some of the paintings weren't my style, but I'm nitpicking here. I absulutely enjoyed my stay.

Staff was very supportive and pleasant.

Room Category and Pictures We booked a room that was shown as a duplex in the official pictures. Upon arrival, we were informed by reception that although the pictures in the selected category do show a duplex room, only one such room exists in the entire hotel. We were assigned a different layout within the same category, which was not made clear during booking. Ski Shuttle Service Prior to booking, we called the hotel twice to confirm whether there was a hotel shuttle to the ski lift. Both times, we were told that a shuttle was available. Upon check-in, however, we were informed that the hotel does not provide its own shuttle, and that we needed to use the public post bus instead. Room Bedding The room was described as suitable for four people, with one bed and one sofa bed. The quality of the sofa bed was very poor and caused discomfort during sleep. In our opinion, this does not meet acceptable standards for guest bedding. Price vs. Star Rating While the hotel is listed as a 3-star property, the pricing was closer to that of a 4-star hotel. Guests may want to compare alternatives in a similar price range before booking. Restaurant Service and Quality We waited over an hour to be served our meals, which were unfortunately not to our taste. Staff informed us that many cooks and employees had recently left the hotel, which caused operational difficulties in the kitchen. Spa and Pool Access One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the advertised spa and pool facilities. However, we found that these amenities are located in a separate building approximately 200 meters away, across the road. This was not clearly stated and made the spa experience less convenient than expected. Summary Our experience at Hotel Sarain Active Mountain Resort did not fully meet expectations based on the booking information and communication prior to arrival. I loved the design of both interior and exterior. The wellness was absolutely stunning and very well constructed, allowing a split between the "naked" and "swimming suit" zones.

The Steam bath was out of order without any notice on the door. There was no one from the staff at the desk there to explain. I asked later on at the reception but they were not informed either. Only later on I learnt it was broken for 3 days so I could only use it for one day.
