This was a great base for us, nice apartment - central in Meribel and easy to get to the slopes.
The apartment is great - 2 have been knocked into one so it's very spacious and the lounge is separate from the bedrooms. There were 4 of us so we could spread out, it would be tight for 8. It has a chalet feel as wood has been added and pretty nicely done. The kitchen is really well equipped, oven, dishwasher etc plus there is a boot dryer. Nice views to the mountains. Excellent showers and hot water. Easy access to the pistes - walk across the road to the escalator - straight onto your skis and down to the main lifts. Meribel is very pretty and this is right in the middle.
There is only one sofa - it could do with another sofa or a couple more comfy chairs.

excellent location. kitchen facilities good. host responsive.
far too small for a mixed group. master bed uncomfortable/cheap needs an upgrade. no privacy. No heating in main room. very expensive for what it is. storage hopeless- bedside tables and bed lights in main room should be a given.
