Fox Jaffna by Fox Resorts - Boutique Heritage Luxury

The excellent service at reception, by the manager and in the kitchen. The ambience inside was great. The garden was meticulously maintained and was very relaxing. Food preparations were faultless and extremely tasty.

Nothing Nothing Everything was to our satisfaction and I praise the management and staff for their exemplary service and personalized care.

We stayed 5 nights on the Heritage side and 4 nights on the new side. We loved both sides but for different reasons. The heritage side had beautiful old furniture and gorgeous artwork. We were close to the front office which was nice for planning all our tours. Then we stayed on the newer side. This side is close to the restaurant and the pool. It has a balcony and big sliding glass doors. From this side you can easily enjoy all the wedding parties getting their photos taking. It is a glorious sight. On both sides the rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. We loved the shower on the newer side. No matter which side you stay. These workers make you feel special. I want to thank Lakshimi at the front office. Sanjeewa who set up all my tours. The breakfast servers, cooks, and managers. Pradkahan who reserved us our table and took care of us every morning. And Akilan and Chef Rowan Kumara our evening meal servers,cooks, and managers who reserved us an outdoor table and took care of us. The food here is amazing! It is fresh and made to order. We very much enjoyed our stay in Jaffna at Fox Jaffna. We Highly Recommend a stay here!

Location and layout

Too many wedding photo shoots on the weekend, would prefer to have different lunch and dinner Manu.

Breakfast was ok, nothing special compared to the rest of sri lankan hotels Good location, not too busy or loud and easy to get to in Jaffna Bed was comfortable Water bottle refills is a great addition

Staff at restaurant were varied, the managers and one of the staff were kind and friendly but we had one unpleasent staff member who made our dining experience very disappointing They have paid photoshoots in the grounds of this hotel, which they don't inform staying guests of. They start early in the morning and make noise and take up all the (minimal) space in the hotel and paths. It makes the hotel feel extremely busy and not at all "boutique". Room amenities including soap was not replaced when run out Check in was slow, not particularly friendly or warm and same at check out They have posters everywhere asking for reviews but don't seem to put in the work to make the reviews positive Definitely not a 4*, more like a solid 3* hotel
