The view was stunning, we had a car but with a 20 min walk you can reach the city center (Corso Umberto etc), the breakfast was very tasty and nice. Safe parking at the end of the road so someone hitting your car is minimized to your neighbors only. Housekeeping was available daily however we didn't use it as there was no need. We also had some cold water prepped in the fridge which was nice welcome after a long trip.

I've expected the bathroom to be in the bedroom. Although it was private, you did need to pass the corridor in the common area which wasn't very comfortable. Weather in the night you wanted to go or in the morning it's quite strange and uncomfortable showing yourself like that. You are provided with bathrobes which is a very nice touch to manage the situation however still if it's important for you to have the bathroom inside consider a different room within the property. Another thing was that the bathroom had NO ventilation. No fan, no AC. Spending anytime in the bathroom was a struggle for us because, standing there you easily start sweating. The walls were also quite thin. Luckily enough our neighbors just as us were out most of the time, but in the evening/night you can hear voices. The main door also should have some stopper to quietly close the door because it just makes a big bang without effort. All of this information are just things that had to make our stay a bit less comfortable however we do not regret choosing this place. Just somethings to consider.

The host was lovely, I twisted my ankle and she helped me a lot with the injury.

The view is amazing. However getting to town necessitated some sort of vehicle.

A gem of a place, tucked right outside the main Toarmina city. The owners are understanding and lovely, the check in is until 22:00 however our flight was delayed and then issues with rental car, we arrived only close to midnight but they gave us no trouble. Our room, The loft, was wonderfully spacious, glass windows overlooking the sea and comfortable bed and mattress - we had our own separate entrance as well. Breakfast is simple, but enough to get started for the day! Parking is on the street out front and free.

Not per se about the property, the only way walking to the city centre is a 10 mins hike which is more like 30 mins rugged terrain - and def not for the night time. This isn’t about the property, but just so one knows for planning purposes.

The view was spectacular from the property and it was very clean.

It was very far from the centre of Taormina, it was 500m up a very steep gradient and very dangerous path (which you would not walk in the dark) which made the property inaccessible to restaurants and bars unless you used public transport or hired a car.
