About this apartment rental
Within a few minutes walk there is a Rewe, two separate organic grocery stores, a great cafe for brunch, an excellent coffee shop and a great local ice cream shop, as well as many other shops and restaurants. There is a large park with a Biergarten and two playgrounds just two minutes away. It is also well-connected to the U-Bahn and the trams--the nearest stop is the Naturkundemuseum, within about a five minute walk, but other stops are also fairly close by foot (e.g. Nordbahnhof).
We are two professors who live here normally when we are in Berlin, but we need to sublet the apartment while we are away to cover our costs. We love it here and spent several years picking out this exact apartment, so we think it is a great find. The rent includes utilities (electricity, high speed internet) and the television tax.
Berlin now requires us to collect a City Tax of 7.5% on this accommodation, which we will need to arrange for you to pay separately from the amount that vrbo will charge for the accommodation here. If you have questions about this, please contact us before booking.
