Only a staff member from restaurant was thoughtful, helpful and considerate

The rooms are outdated with weird smell , it’s no way a 4 star hotel. From the start, we were not given clean rooms, which is unacceptable for a hotel claiming to be 4-star. Despite booking well in advance for a family group, we were allocated rooms on different floors, and shockingly, the children were placed on a separate floor from the adults. This is completely inappropriate and unsafe for families. The room facilities were poor and of very low standard. Furnishings felt old and cheap, amenities were minimal, and overall comfort was far below what one expects at this price point. The heating was centrally controlled, giving us no ability to adjust it, which made the rooms uncomfortable—especially with children. Breakfast was another disappointment: limited options, low quality, and not at all in line with a 4-star hotel. Considering the high room rates, this was unacceptable. Overall, the hotel fails to meet basic hospitality standards, let alone those of a 4-star property. We felt the management was unresponsive and indifferent, and our concerns were not addressed, we asked the staff for 4plates to eat dinner and this request was declined saying our hotel has its own restaurant where they expect guests to have dinner . Shockingly 😳 unacceptable

Reception could of been more friendly. 3 minute walk to the beach, exterior and lobby feels more lavish than the room

Very nice hotel, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very helpful and kind.

We didn't have enough light in our room. It was so dark, I had to use a flashlight...

The staff was so helpful. The room was spotless. The air conditioning worked well as it was very hot during my visit. The breakfast had great options & was delicious. Side note - don’t overpack. Self service laundry mat next door that was spotless, reasonably priced & easy to use.

Nothing At all.

Restaurant was very nice and decor was great. Breakfast was good and just above a continental one. Reception and bar area was really nice although never anyone using the facilities.

Room was tied and in need of refurbishment, shower was passed its sell by date. There was a distinct lack of maintenance. The air conditioning constantly stopped working and had to ask reception on numerous occasions to switch on as unlike other hotels they had complete control!

Location.

The main reception and rooftop were lovely, especially the staff for the breakfast. The aircon was a real issue, we had 3 rooms one of which the aircon was working and the other two it was not, we had complained several times as the room was way too hot to sleep in (August in Italy you need aircon). On the last evening I had to go down to reception around 5am to complain again after not sleeping, to be told the aircon which is controlled by reception for each room, was off in our room. At this point I had, had enough and asked why this would be the case, the receptionist said we must have asked for them to turn it off, which is 100% untrue. We complained on check out and check out staff said we had not mentioned an issue at all with the aircon, although over a 5 night stay for 6 people in 3 rooms we had complained 4 times. Also the rooms were very tired and need an update especially in the bathrooms which are very tired and slightly dirty looking.

Great location, good breakfast. Front street facing rooms have full sun most of the day so makes it hard to keep room cool.

Pillows & mattress could use upgrade.

Clean , staff very friendly and will help you all the time . Breakfast great , location great , rooms great .
