Use of pool and beach front. Love the bungalow style villas. Staff were very friendly. Fresh cooked mini pancakes were excellent for breakfast. Being abled to drink the water due to a water purifier in property. Mosquito plug in machine for bedroom.
You need to embrace the wildlife - bugs/flies as they can come into the bungalow, however the geckos are very efficient eating these.

The accomodation and the environment is perfect. We spent a part of our honeymoon here, and absolutely worth every penny. The view from the beachide bungalow is amazing. Breathtaking sunsets and dramatic cliffs, you can't get enough of this. The staff is kind and helpful, our favourite was the lillte boss, Kopi. The room was always clean and huge shoutout for the water cleaner machine. At the bar we always ate delicious (aroy) food had had some good cocktails. The pool was clean. I highly recommend to take a boat to Railay and discover the area especially Phra Nang beach. We will definetely come back.

Perfect location, as we arrived late in the evening the hotel helped organise transportation for us to make check in seamless! Staff were friendly and attentive. Location is perfect! Just a short walk into Railey to bwat the crowds arriving later in the morning. Food and drinks were excellent.

The view! Incredible location! Birds and monkeys around, good kayaking
Lack of air conditioning in public areas, not many palms trees or vegetation, so difficult to find shade during the day, and get’s really hot.

Everything was thoughtfully organized and did a good job minimizing the ecological footprint of the facilities - with the bulk of the power being supplied by solar panels and electric appliances. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and everything was clean. We could see the staff taking care the property and maintaining the grounds in an immaculate way, and the food was very enjoyable as well. The dining areas were ideal, with a waterside deck that captured the breeze perfectly. We were so sorry to leave!

Great location. privacy. romantic view. Close to Railey beach - 10 min mount hike walk (we did it - october, 10am) or by shallow water (october, around 4-5 pm)
We stayed 2 nights and really enjoy it. 10-15 min walk through village or other couple resorts.
Great experience with longtail boat.
Check in is by 6pm, make sure you can make it
if you like party and a lot of moving around - will be boring for long stay

Our stay at this stunning beachfront hotel was nothing short of perfection. From the moment we arrived, we were completely blown away by the location — nestled right on a secluded bay with direct access to a private beach. Waking up each morning to the sound of gentle waves and panoramic views over the turquoise water was an experience I’ll never forget.
The rooms were spacious, beautifully appointed, and designed to maximize the breath-taking surroundings. Having our own uninterrupted view of the bay from the balcony felt like a slice of paradise all to ourselves.
The food was equally impressive — every meal was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Whether it was a relaxed beachfront breakfast, a sunset cocktail, or a romantic dinner under the stars, the dining experiences were consistently outstanding.
What truly set this hotel apart, though, was the staff. Warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring, they went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Every interaction felt personal, and the level of service was thoughtful without ever being intrusive.
If you're looking for a luxurious, peaceful getaway with stunning natural beauty, incredible food, and heartfelt hospitality, this is the place. We left feeling completely refreshed, grateful, and already planning our return.

secluded place and great location, although high tide with tough waves might make the boat transfer slightly difficult, we still managed to land properly. Cute and wild monkeys, nice beach and short hike to Railay beach. We love this place! and the restaurant serving great dinner, we had green curry (vege).

Staff incredibly friendly and helpful.
The setting is amazing.
Good food.
The only thing was the beds were very firm and so not very comfortable. It would be good if they replaced with softer mattresses.

WOW simply breathtaking … we would always come back! that‘s really the hideaway next to the busy railay you can feel so calm surrounded by animals i. this beautiful room…
nothing to complain. thank you

The beach view, the beautiful landscape from your bungalow. Loved the architecture of the resort, sort of ecolodge style. Very peaceful and charming,
Staff are really attentive and try their best to serve you
Loved the buggy
Loved the black cat at the reception
Lacking space to dry your clothes / swimming suits. No rack in our 8 bed's room, maybe because they fear the monkeys would steal them?
The beach has some trash, not much, but still, it would have taken little effort every morning to pick those trashes and make the difference for the tourists visiting the place.
Not enough accommodations for food. Try the restaurant outside of this hotel, they have more choice. Staff is nice too.
Only access is by tail boat, your luggage will get wet and sticky, be prepared ! don't seat in the front, but in the back, and give an extra for the skipper to help you carry your luggage since you have to go down from the boat in the water. So don't forget your flip flap shoes... forget the sneakers shoes and long pants/ dress
Be aware there is no spa
Activities (climbing cliff, kayak, tours...) are a bit expensive but this is the unique place you can book so...

We loved everything about Tinidee Hideaway. The setting is beautiful, right on the beach with palm trees dotted around the grounds. The food was amazing, I’d say our favourite during our two weeks in Thailand. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the night security guard was very sweet and treated us like long lost friends. Our bungalow on stilts was great- had everything we needed and a view to die for (ocean front room 11). We loved that the resort is only accessible by boat, and as an alternative to boat we were able to walk to Railay Beach next door via a track over rocks through trees (around 15 minutes, moderately strenuous in parts). It was the perfect stay.

Location is amazing, breathtaking scenery, totally relaxing, fabulous staff, great breakfast. If you are looking for somewhere to unwind far from the crowds this is it
There was nothing we didn’t like but just a few points to note
Boat transfer - if taking a local long boat you need to be able bodied, happy to wade through the sea, carry at least some of your luggage and clamber over boats & scramble up wharf walls, everyone is super helpful but you do need reasonable mobility
The long boats at Tonsai run through the day, mostly it’s relatively peaceful but there are definitely some boy racers amongst them who do not enhance the peaceful atmosphere!
The track over to Railay is well worth doing, steep steps and rocks and tree roots but very doable, I don’t recommend jandals after a massage though!
The village behind the wall is all but shut down, making food options limited, we ate all nights at the resort as the 2 places open behind the wall had no customers and we were worried about food hygiene

The property was so scenic and peaceful. The beach was private, but still in close proximity to other attractions. ( a short long boat ride). The staff was friendly and very helpful. I believe they went above and beyond . The restaurant on the premises had amazing food. ( fried rice and curry)
I would have liked the mini market to be better stocked, but they do have a few snacks .

• The resort far exceeded our expectations: a truly paradisiacal place to disconnect and unwind.
• Located in a beautiful, untouched bay, just 15 minutes away from Ao Nang by long-tail boat.
• Everything is well maintained: private beach, pool, bar, and common areas are clean and tastefully kept.
• We stayed in one of the stilt villas — charming and very clean, especially considering the jungle setting.
• The overall cleanliness is impressive and above average for a location so immersed in nature.
• The staff was kind and helpful: we appreciated the use of golf card for luggage and the coordination of boat transfers.
• It’s clear that the management is constantly improving the structure and addressing previous issues.
• They take guest feedback seriously — several problems mentioned in older reviews had already been resolved.
• The short path connecting the bay to Ao Nang via Tonsai Beach is manageable with closed shoes, not dangerous or particularly difficult.
• The grounds and gardens are well cared for and spotless.
• Some small gaps in the villa structure still allow insects to enter (we noticed a few small gecos in the bathroom), although staff responded quickly.
• Some sealing work (e.g., silicone used to close holes) could be improved for better protection against insects.
• During low season, despite having few guests, we noticed occasional forgetfulness from the restaurant staff.
• Limited evening activities: the bar closed early every night, and the outdoor fire pit was never used.
• Given the secluded location, extending the bar hours would be highly appreciated — guests would likely stay, relax, and enjoy a drink.

The location is beautiful, remote, quiet location, very unique setting, water was great
The staff are very unhelpful if any difficulties occur - the only way to get to the hotel is via long boat, which do not run if there is a storm/rough water, and the staff offer no assistance with alternatives. Another couple was having the opposite issue, trying to leave during a storm while we were trying to get to the hotel, and they expressed similar frustrations with staff.

The facilities and the Dj vibes at the beach
some ants in the bathroom and the rocky surface of the sea when it’s low tide.
10.0 / 10.0
The fact that it was a bit isolated but had all the facilities we wanted was just what we were looking for during this part of our holiday. Great beach too that you could swim in during high tide. Brilliant views too
The variety in the menu could have been better eg. doing a special menu some nights eg. a bbq on some nights just for a change from the norm.

This hotel was paradise. We wanted relaxation and we got served it. It was on a semi private beach so not many people around. The hotel offers transportation to and from railey for 600 bahts but if you ask the guys on Railey beach and tonsai beach it’s half the price so we opted for these options. We also only had snacks at the hotel as there are amazing restaurants behind the wall of the hotel. We were scared we’d be forced to eat at their restaurant but we weren’t due to the others on the island. They were all super tasty and very traditional (we didn’t want western food). Staff was super kind and room is unbelievable. Breakfast was really good too

Our beachfront room was stunning. Lovely rustic interior with all the faces. Super comfy bed but let’s be honest..it’s all about the view! Travelled extensively around the whole but the setting here is jaw dropping. Shame it isn’t facing the sunset but can hardly blame the hotel for that!!
Constant noise from the long tail boats mostly heading to Railing Beach. It’s like relaxing in the garden while your neighbour spends the whole day cutting the grass! Again nothing the hotel can do about that but just an observation. I guess it’s the result of only been able to access these stunning Coves by boat?

This is probably the best hotel we stayed at while travelling through Thailand! We have booked the room with sea view and it was the best view to wake up to in the morning. We loved how private, secluded and intimate the hotel felt. The reception staff were lovely and helped us get a boat back to the mainland and helped us with our luggage. We’ll definitely be back! Lastly, we couldn’t believe how close Railay beach was to the hotel!
There aren’t many dislikes for this hotel. The only thing that we struggled with a little bit was the restaurant and limited menu. We would highly recommend coming to this hotel with snacks and drinks as shops around the island are very limited!

We arrived by boat from Ao Nam Mao, which was a beautiful experience by itself, and had a caddy driver waiting for us at the beach. He and everyone else was so welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious and you could feel the magic in the air. Maybe it was just the storm that was coming that night and breakfast in the gale force winds was an amazing experience. We loved being cut off from the rest of the world and were lucky to be able to trek to Railay for a few hours between the two storms... and then for it to be calm enough for us to leave and catch out flight at the end of the stay. Honestly we would've been delighted to have been stranded there a few more days! Watching the storm from our beautiful hut then walking around the beach, pool and relaxing in the treehouse after the rain had stopped but the warm wind blew clouds past the rising moon at dusk was something we'll never forget.
Honestly tough to remember anything negative except having to leave at the end. Our stay was too short :D The breakfast could've had a couple more options but was 7.5/10 at the very least. The pineapple jam was scrumptious so be sure to try that. The Thai option was also yummy. We felt a little dissuaded from leaving to go explore the village behind the resort, but to be fair, there was a storm coming. Also, though not a problem for us, maybe not a place to stay the day before a flight as you could get stranded but absolutely a place to stay for a longer while to unwind away from it all. We also ended up paying twice (at the beginning and the end) but the team was super cooperative and friendly in helping the issue get resolved.

The outstanding location, only accessible by boat.
Large and smartly arranged family room..
Good food & drinks at the restaurant.
The boat service between Ao Long and Tonsai Beach is poor and not under control (we have severely cut our feet on the sharp rocks at the pier while disembarking).
The beds are hard.
10.0 / 10.0
Utterly idyllic, fabulous location and a brilliant chill out bar at the end of the beach. We loved the Tinidee, it was a highlight of our trip. Fabulous
The low tide can cause issues with transport on and off the beach on a long boat but for us this added to the adventure.
