Giltraps Townhouse & Glamping

We loved this cabin and facilities, everything was exceptionally clean. We went to giltraps pub for food and that was really good! A breakfast hamper was dropped to our cabin which had breakfast baps, tea, mini pastries etc - this was an amazing bonus! Check in / checkout was seemless

The only fault we had was that we would have loved a lamp in the cabin as the kids needed a nightlight to sleep and the main light was too bright - I did check reception but there was Noone around to ask

Warm comfy , common areas lovely , vending machine nice for a late night drink(needs a card reader only takes coins)

Shutters didn't close fully so light came in first thing. Bathrooms are very far away , not sure what is happening the other side of the ditch but there was thumping against the wall for most of the night. Check in was you had to call them no one was at reception and you are just left standing there. The bathrooms are incredibly tight. Toilet is basically stuck to two walls so your left to nearly sit sideways , the roof of two of the bathrooms and in the showes had spiders and cobwebs , the dispensers were empty in two bathrooms.

I loved the nature and also the space that is given from each log cabin. Very comfortable bed and very nice staff very helpful. It being in the village and close to a shop when you didn’t realise you needed something small was pleasing that you didn’t have to drive to find a shop.

Location was perfect, we were in the Yurt, it was lovely and warm, very cozy! Staff were friendly, especially the girl that walked us to our yurt.

The beds were really hard but other than that, it was very warm and cozy for the 4 of us.
