A very pleasant stay with amazing kind hosts!

My room was very comfortable and Mark carried my case up to my second floor room, for which I was grateful! Breakfast was wonderful! I had the full cooked breakfast, freshly prepared and delicious! My hosts were really accommodating in allowing me to check in early as I had to attend a funeral. Their kindness meant that I didn't have to make an extra trip of 16 miles just to book in on time.

Just a small problem in that I struggled to dry the towels in the bathroom. There was nowhere to hang them out and they were still damp when I needed them the next day. It was a small inconvenience.

Wedding Anniversary trip to North Wales

The room was fabulous with a lovely large bed, and a comfy sofa which we turned so we could watch the sea views for dolphins! It was on the third floor so we had a little help from Mark to bring our suitcases up and down for us. Breakfasts were well organised and very tasty. With local restaurants a short walk away, we had a wonderful stay and even spotted dolphins!

Excellent location. Directly opposite the beach where we saw plenty of wildlife including dolphins (or were they porpoises?). Plenty of walks in and around the area. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. The hosts, Mark and Louise, were so friendly and helpful, providing us with local information to enhance our stay. The breakfast was unbelievably good- fresh ingredients cooked to perfection.

A great base for four stormy days on the sea front. Perfect base for exploring wild North Llyn too!

The lovely hosts Mark and Louise did everything to make my stay excellent. Their attention to even the smallest details is obvious. The hotel's location on the beach during some huge storms was fantastic. Recommended.

Couldn’t have done more for us. Very well organised and place is fresh and clean. We were there for our sea fix and to relax and it is in a super spot on the front. Just perfect for what we wanted and only a short walk to all the amenities, restaurants and hustle and bustle.

Very enjoyable and comfortable.

The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, providing us with plenty of local information, including details about taxis, restaurants, and local attractions. Our room offered an amazing view of the sea and featured a very comfortable bed and pillows, along with tea and coffee facilities. The breakfast was exceptional, delicious, and offered a wide range of choices. However, the room was a bit warm; adding a fan could improve the comfort and promote better sleep.

Everything was excellent; we would return here. The stairs were a bit of a climb, but we can't complain about the view we had.

A really enjoyable stay enhanced by attention to detail and the genuine warmth of the owners.

Awel Mor B and B is in an excellent location facing the panorama of Cardigan Bay. Ideal for exploring the local area and as a base for trips to the Llyn Peninsula and Snowdonia. It is immaculate reflecting the owners' high standards and care for their guests. The breakfast is exceptionally good and all guests are offered choices. The owners are keen to help visitors with readily available leaflets and advice based upon personal experiences. You are warmly welcomed upon arrival.

A pleasant and relaxing short stay.

Very friendly and pleasant hosts - nothing too much trouble. Breakfast room was light and airy, and the food was exceptional, especially the vine tomatoes and bacon. Comfortable Lounge for guests, with alcoholic drinks available.

A wonderful stay in an excellent guest house

I liked everything about Awel Mor and had an excellent stay. The hosts offer an excellent guest experience, the breakfast is excellent and the location is great. You can’t really fault it and it’s great value for money. I will definitely be returning.

There was nothing i didn’t like about Awel Mor. Just a suggestion: in my room (No: 4) it would be better to have the TV facing the bed rather than at the side, but no problem.

Wonderful hosts, great location, highly recommended

From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome by Mark, who showed us to our 3rd floor room. The room was of good size; a large bed, sofa and separate bathroom with shower. Breakfast was of good choice and managed to accommodate my requirement for gluten free options too. Would highly recommend the property if you are looking for a B & B ideally situated in North Wales. From our room we even managed to see bottle-nosed dolphins in the bay. Incredible.

No onsite parking but plenty of spaces on the road near to the property.

Superb B&B

The bedroom had a bay window with two small armchairs and a small table in the bay. What a nice place to sit, have a drink and admire the view of the sea on the opposite side of the road. The room had a very large (larger than king-size), comfortable bed. The B&B was spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated. The hosts were very dedicated, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with good quality produce, freshly prepared. Criccieth Castle is a 5 minute walk away. Criccieth is a good location for touring the Lleyn peninsula and the Porthmadog area.

The weather could have been better on the first day. However, it was nice to be able to see the storm clouds and the waves crashing onto the beach whilst keeping warm and dry sat on the armchairs in the bay window.

The welcome and introduction was excellent. Mark and Louise went "the second mile". Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were very enthusiastic about their work and genuinely wanted their guests to "feel home from home".

The location just across from the beach was great. My room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There was a very good selection available for breakfast. Mark and Louise were excellent hosts.
