Not much limited choice , warm not much choice ,a smile and a good morning would have been appreciated however I had a nice cuppa thank you to both reception staff
My bed ! As I moved etc it creaked and the headboard would hit the wall not comfortable at all

Great value for money perfect location friendly staff and a lovely breakfast. Rooms well equipped.
Unfortunately the 3rd bed wasn't made up and I had to do this myself, the quilt in the wardrobe for the bed didn't have a sheet on it and was heavily stained. Also the batteries in the remote had leaked so that was unusable.

Staff were polite and helpful. Room was quiet
Found the room cold ...radiator never came on despite asking at reception. As such, it wasn't a welcoming space...Just ended up being somewhere to sleep. The room was generally tired, with a poorly functioning TV.
We were disappointed with the breakfast...again, it was mediocre. I skipped the cooked breakfast and just had cereal. Disappointing inasmuch as breakfast in a hotel is usually a treat for us. We're unlikely to stay at The Lion again.
