Possibly the best value for money option in town. Spacious rooms, beautiful location right by the park.

The Decor is not for everyone.

Beautiful large room in a gorgeous building. Very clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee were provided which was really appreciated. Access to the building was easy. There is a metro close by to get to the city center, and also it was an easy walk from the Berlin central bus station.

Everything was good.

The self check-in was extremely simple and took only 3 minutes. The bus station is just a 15-minute walk away. There is coffee, tea, and water available in the shared kitchen. I really enjoyed that gothic interior. The water is consistently hot, the shower and the room in general are clean, and the internet is fast. The area feels safe, and the staff responds very quickly.

The elevator was not working, and unfortunately, no one warned me about this in advance, so I had to carry my luggage up to the third floor. The room was very cold, and it felt like the heating wasn’t working at all. The blankets were very thin, and I had to sleep in my winter sweater instead of pajamas. The mini fridge is also only in the shared kitchen, which is not very convenient. The sound insulation is terrible, and the blender in the bathroom is extremely loud. The door to the room is difficult to open. The key doesn’t work well and gets stuck.

The place is in a very good location. The overall cleanness is very good, also complimentary tea, coffee and mineral water is available 24/7.

The room I got had no bathroom, only a shared one with another room, accessible thru the common lobby. Not very convenient. The elevator was out of service all the time, the room is on the 4th floor (3rd floor for europeans). The room was much smaller and much more modest than advertised on the property photos.
