Casa Vacanze Il Campo

It was a short walk to a couple of bars and restaurants outside of the main square, so cheaper. The apartment was spacious and the air con was great. We were given some good advice from reception who were very welcoming. They also helped us get back to the train station by booking a taxi for us. They were kind enough to look after our luggage between checkout and the time we needed to leave too.

Be aware you may be on a floor that involves quite a lot of stairs. We needed to ask for an adaptor to make the kettle work that they supplied. There seems to be two sizes of plugs in Italy.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Casa Vacanze Il Campo, even though it was only for one night. Giovanni and Alamee were both friendly, welcoming, and quick to respond to any questions, making communication effortless throughout my stay. The apartment appears to occupy an entire floor, making it feel spacious and private, and it comes with a fully equipped kitchen and a private bathroom. It is very comfortable, well maintained, and has a pleasant atmosphere. The location is excellent--just a short walk from Piazza del Campo, bus stops, and many other major attractions. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to book this place again on my next trip to Siena.

The only thing I didn’t like was that I couldn’t stay longer.

The staff was super helpful; they provided us with a lot of information and helped a lot to find parking too. Overall, really good experience and value for money. The facilities were quite old inside, but that's more than understandable in a city like Siena.
