Well located but a few things could be improved.

The place is well located close to the Piazza del Campo and the host is very attentive.

There is little phone signal in the place and the wifi was not very good for us. Whilst there was lots of space, we did not find the beds very comfortable and some of our towels were a bit damp.

In general the location was okay once we found our way around Siena. Close to all landamrks.

It was difficult to arrive using the GPS in the car rental we had. I had to drop the family near and they had to walk all the way to the location.

Exceptional

This apartment in the center of Siena is truly a gem. It's located in a prime spot, with easy access to all the city's main attractions. The check-in process was incredibly smooth and the Katy, the host, was fantastic, making myself feel welcome and at home from the moment I arrived. The space itself is well-appointed, with modern amenities and tasteful decor that perfectly complements the building's historical charm. Whether you're a solo traveler or a family, this apartment is the perfect home base for exploring all that Siena has to offer. Highly recommended!

The most incredible stay in Siena

Katy is an incredible host, she takes care of you like a 'local' sister would do. Accordingly, the apartment is so beautiful, warm and cozy. placed in an historical building within an historical neighborhood (You'll become a supporter of the Giraffe Contrada) !! You will have the most wonderful stay in Siena.

Don't be fooled.

Close to Siena center. Owner offered me a refund after I complained - but too much of a hassle to go find another place at short notice again. Huge apartment 110 sqm - but impossible to keep warm in January.

These are all true facts, I am not lying. No WiFi signal in bedroom even though claimed 'WiFi in all areas'. WiFi very slow as only 5mb download speed. Slow WiFi is cheaper than fast WiFi for owner. No wheelchair access as steps leading down to apartment from street level, even though it shows wheelchair access in facilities in booking.com. No electric kettle even though shows in facilities in booking.com. Heating controlled by owner and not above 20C. Heating off from 10pm to 8am. No cutting boards or knives to prepare dinner. Host provides restaurant information but only so you go out and eat, not eat in apartment. Host demands guests clean out their own rubbish and not leave anything that smells, and wash all dishes, before leaving. Probably cheaper when you don't pay a cleaner. Lots of rules but when rules are questioned you are answered with "but it's close to a major cultural attraction", as if that matters. Pompous replies to questions. No carpets so ice cold floors when heating is off. No greeting, owner is offsite so not able to show anything. Questions by booking.com only. Cheap polyester bedclothes, no cotton or linens. Cheap polyester thin bed covers. Cheap tacky plastic flowers. Only one towel. Micro shower so won't fit a big person. Old uncomfortable bed. Tiny old TV, flatscreen. Low ceilings so would not suit a tall person. Low kitchen hob so easy to bang head when cooking. Very few electrical outlets, no adapters. Very small bathroom.
