Casato Diciannove is a large apartment in the heart of the city of Siena, just a few steps from Piazza del Campo, where the famous Palio is held.

The apartment is located on the ground floor of a historic building in the center, consists of two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, one of which inside the room and a large living area, with equipped kitchen, dining table and sofa.
The entrance opens onto a long corridor where there is a large wardrobe, the first room is a double bedroom with en suite bathroom, the furniture is modern, in the bathroom there are shower, toilet and sink.
Facing the window you can admire the beautiful Torre del Mangia, the civic tower of the Town Hall.
Continuing along the corridor is the second bathroom, larger and with bathtub and the second double bedroom.
At the end of the corridor is the living area, with a frescoed ceiling, a comfortable sofa and a TV cabinet, on the front wall there is a fully equipped kitchen, with everything you need to prepare your own lunches and dinners and a dining table, which can comfortably accommodate four people.
You will also be in the center of the territory of the Contrada Capitana dell'Onda and during the summer you may find yourself immersed in the atmosphere of the Palio just looking out from the front door.

If we had stayed in this lovely apartment in a Fall or Winter month, we would have loved it completely! It is large, clean, modern, and convenient to everything you want to experience in Siena. It is our fault that we did not read the description thoroughly. We failed to notice that there is no air-conditioning and it was HOT - so HOT - during our visit. The portable fans help, but without AC, we could not shut the windows at night and being so close to the town's center, it was musically noisy late into the night. At another time of year, it would have been perfect for us!

Great location and nice accommodations. For safety, needs a bathtub mat and grab bars to use tube shower.

The apartment was in a perfect location within a few steps to Piazza il Campo and the restaurants and shops. It was very spacious and comfortable and we loved the mosaic ceiling in the living room, tile in the kitchen and bathroom and views of the rooftops.
