Pensión Nuevas Artes

It was clean and conveniently located. The receptionist was so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. It was incredibly good value for money. It felt like a more authentic experience staying here than at a big hotel

Nothing

Great Staff, very clean and quiet

Only oped at 5pm to check in and no ac. Very small shower

Staff were very welcoming. The triple room and bathroom were very comfortable for two and the shower was good. Despite being on the main road the apartment was very quiet. There is no air conditioner as its an old building but the wall mounted fan worked well and kept the room comfortable. Its a great location if you are travelling by train. Less than 5 minutes from the local Euskotren and 10 minutes to the main rail and bus station. 15 minute walk to the beach and the old town.

Nothing!

The staff was friendly and the room was clean

There was loud construction work going on in the morning. The double bed was very small and not particularly comfortable, and the room itself was tiny and felt very cramped. The soundproofing was also poor—you could hear everything from the neighbouring rooms and the hallway. Compared with, for example, Pension Urkia, which is more centrally located yet offers cheaper, larger, quieter rooms, this felt like a rip-off. Even the capsule coffee wasn’t complimentary, which was disappointing given the price. You also cannot check in between 2 to 5 PM.
