🇮🇹❤️ Villa Rosita – The Perfect Ending to Our Italian Adventure ❤️🇮🇹 it is a true hidden gem near Rome.
Sometimes the best places aren’t in the heart of a busy city—they’re the ones that make you slow down, relax, and truly enjoy your final moments before heading home.
Villa Rosita was exactly that.
After weeks of traveling through Italy, waking up here on our last morning was the perfect way to end our adventure. Breakfast was included, and enjoying it on the beautiful terrace surrounded by flowers and lush greenery was the perfect way to start the day.
One of my favorite surprises was the view from our bedroom. Looking out over the garden and seeing fresh vegetables and fruit growing reminded me of the simple beauty of Italy and the love that goes into caring for the property.
And can I just say… I slept like a baby! After weeks of trains, planes, buses, and endless sightseeing, a peaceful night’s sleep was exactly what I needed.
The location was also incredibly convenient. A supermarket was just a 5–6 minute walk away, making it easy to pick up anything we needed. Our host even provided a neighborhood map with nearby restaurants, cafés, and stores, which made exploring the area effortless.
Following one of those recommendations, we enjoyed delicious pizza at a restaurant just around the corner—one last taste of Italy before flying home.
Most importantly, the hospitality was wonderful. Villa Rosita was comfortable, welcoming, and truly felt like a home away from home.
If you’re looking for a peaceful place to stay near Rome’s Fiumicino Airport without sacrificing charm, comfort, or convenience, I wholeheartedly recommend Villa Rosita .

Boutique style villa. Very clean. Close to Fumicino Airport and they provide a shuttle service, but for a fee. Good value.
Not much in the area, but this is a convenient stopover near the airport. Breakfast is basic - cereal and yoghurt, but the bread is packaged and not fresh loaf.

It’s set in a beautiful garden and has a lovely front verandah. Great breakfast.
