• Boutique Experience: A small and quiet hotel with only 8 rooms. The aesthetics are on point—long pool, black-and-white tiles, chandeliers, and palm trees make it a perfect place to relax.
• The Room (Pool View Suite): I had the luck to have the pool view suite, the biggest room there! Felt like a king—the bed is very comfortable, the shades block most sunlight, and the shower pressure was good. I appreciated the large balcony area with both a big sofa lounger and a table.
• The Pool: Salt pool with perfect temperature, the highlight of the villa for me! Enjoyed swimming several times of day, doing laps and just relaxing. Strangely, I was the only one using it 95% of the time.
• Location & Surrounding Area: Seminyak beach is a 5 minutes walk away, perfect place to finish the day and watch the sunset (there’s simple tables there to have coconut/beers and you can rent nice chair loungers for 50K IDR… also many high-end beach clubs close). As Casa Artista is located a bit outside the busy city center, there’s not many places close-by but there’s at least 2 to 3 good restaurants and convenience stores in walking distance. For anywhere further, grab come pick you up at the door!
• Amenities: Good wi-fi, strong AC plus all amenities are provided including a fridge, hair dryer, and a safe.
• Staff & Service: Very polite and kind staff; I was surprised by the size of the crew and they constantly take care of the hotel grounds. Communication was proactive before check-in and throughout the stay on WhatsApp.
• Extra Services: I did not use them but the hotel offers extra spa services like affordable in-room massages and breakfast.
• Issue: Biggest annoyance was the room door not closing properly; I had to continuously lock the door (both from inside and outside) otherwise the door doesn’t close properly and the cold air escapes.
• Privacy/Signage: A “no disturb sign” or “please clean room” to put on the door would have been nice. One day I decided to sleep in late but was awakened to ask if I wanted the room clean.
• Arrival: The street leading to the hotel is a bit dodgy (although safe) and the lack of a clear sign of the hotel’s name makes the place harder to find. Luckily, I was greeted upon arrival!

I have booked the junior room (nr 11) which was spacious and looked just on the pictures. The staff was helpful when I asked for other room and even helped me to find my little hook what I used in the bathroom and forgot during the move to the other room. Thank you again.
What was disturbing for me this room doesn't belong to the main house, its separate room outside above the scooter parking and water pump machine accessible only via steep small steps. For a very noise sensitive person like me the noises during the night and morning when more and more scooters arrived I could not stand and changed to other room inside the building. That was much better and saved my trip.

The swimming pool was refreshing. The staff was friendly, although they weren't there all the time. The room was clean, good towels.
The location was a bit far from the "center" and it was sometimes difficult for drivers to find the place. I wondered why there was no plastic bag in the toilet trash can, or even a lid. This would be a small thing that would affect hygiene and cleanliness. There were no hooks in the bathroom to hang towels.

Nice large room and lovely pool
Bed was uncomfortable, had to sleep on top of the bedding to stop me feeling the springs. Bathroom sink leaked so they they simply propped up the piping. TV very small and hard to see across the room. WiFi was APPALLING. Could not use Smart TV options and so many websites kept saying they were blocked, dropped out consistently. Our patio was in the soaking rain the WHOLE time so could not sit out there or dry washing, it was also a public thoroughfare. For 3 days they were fixing up the paving outside our room with no warning, had to have the curtains drawn or go out all day. Provided a measly 2 coffee sachets a day. Location was AWFUL, right down an alleyway, you had to walk past a construction site, then a 10 minute walk to anything, which doesn't sound too bad until you add SUPER narrow roads, with huge walls on each side, poorly lit, open drains, pouring rain and oncoming traffic. Difficult to get taxis to come to the location as it was so hard to access and then they couldn't even turn around when they dropped you off. We REGRETTED chosing this location and spent each day getting out and back to more vibrant areas of Kuta.
