Not great but not bad. Just Average for the money.

Great check in process, very kind staff and quiet part of Seminyak if you want that. Great A/C.

No Hot water in my room which sucked. Ants and a few baby cockroaches were in my room. Towels were very average and not new. Fridge was not plugged in when I checked in. so took a long time for my drinks to get cold. Only stayed one night and had to leave early morning but no one was at the front desk for check out.

That they charged me $80aud for a small mark on the bed sheets that was easily washed out, when i asked for the sheets back to only sleep with them so I do not get charged again if something the same was to happen they where spotless after being returned after being washed.

Good for a cheap nights stay.

For a cheap night's stay this hotel was fine enough. The room itself was clean, the bed was comfortable and the aircon was cold. I checked in at 6pm and left the next morning at 7am so it was perfect for $48 AUD.

I didn't even bother to shower, it smelt like cheese (must be the mold and mildew - it was so bad that I just kept the door to the shower closed the whole time). No key for the safe and no instructions on how to use it. Girls beware, the owner of the hotel likes to sit on the balcony of the above restaurant and yell at you from the street - I asked the staff if this was normal and they assured me he was harmless but it didn't feel great being harassed by an older man when you're staying at his hotel, alone.

Great location close to the beach and between two of the main streets of Seminyak with bars/restaurants/shopping nearby, but out of the noisy hustle and bustle.

Bargain Bali

The staff at the Anshel were very friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed my chats with Dewi, she was so lovely and happy to help with anything I needed. I arrived later than planned, and Dewi asked the kitchen to stay open so I could order room service. When the TV in my room wasn't working, she organised an upgrade to a superior room at no charge. My room was comfortable and great value for money. The hotel is in a relatively quiet area of Seminyak, close to convenience stores, and the fantastic Rose Spa just down the street. My friends stayed in a villa around the corner, and we walked everywhere and always felt safe.

Die Lage war prinzipiell gut. Ruhige Straße und nah zum Meer.

Der Fluss in der Nähe hat stark nach Kloake gestunken, genau so wie das Wasser das aus der Dusche und dem Wasserhahn kam. Auch der Pool wurde schon länger nicht mehr gereinigt, weshalb das Wasser Braun statt blau war. Der Pool (wäre er nutzbar gewesen) ist eher ein Dekobecken in der Lobby, mit einer insgesamt zwei sonnenliegen.
