Еxcellent food.

Check in time was rather late.

Excellent home cooking including a wood burning BBQ outside - we recommend the chicken skewers and bean soup but fresh trout grilled on the BBQ also available. It was lovely sitting outside in the cool evening with a cold beer. The hotel is run by a family and they made us feel very welcome, the room & bathroom were very clean and the location near Rila monastery is very convenient. Excellent value. I forgot to take photos but those on the app are accurate.

The room was basic, decor dated, and the bed not very comfortable. It was suitable for an overnight stay and cheap so you get what you pay for.

Food was great, the restaurant on the property. Nice bathroom/shower with little packets for soap. Bed was comfortable. I loved the mountain stream could be heard all night, quiet place just off the highway, and not a lot of light pollution. Close to the Rila Monastery. Big parking lot.

Really it was great.

Friendly staff, plenty of parking , on site restaurant, lovely flood. Heating the rooms before we arrived was a nice touch. Near to the Monastery.

My room was fine but my friends considered their mattress too soft.
