Welcome to Southern Sands 303, a beachfront 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo in Gulf Shores with Gulf views, a private balcony, an outdoor pool, and one of the most walkable locations on West Beach.
Southern Sands is located just a few buildings west of The Hangout and the center of Gulf Shores, making it easy to leave the car parked and walk to restaurants, shopping, entertainment, ice cream, beach stores, and more.
This low-density beachfront complex has only 18 units, giving guests easy beach access without the feel of a large high-rise resort.
Southern Sands 303 is located on the 3rd floor and offers approximately 1,000 square feet of comfortable vacation space. The private balcony overlooks the beach, Gulf of Mexico, and community pool and includes a bar-height Polywood table and chairs plus a Polywood Adirondack chair.
The condo has received numerous interior updates, including both bathrooms updated in December 2025 and a refreshed living room with a solid wood plank accent wall and upgraded trim. The kitchen features granite countertops, a stainless steel flat-top range, stainless steel dishwasher, over-the-range microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, and USB charging outlets.
The living room includes a 50-inch Ultra HD Smart TV with DirecTV plus access to streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime using your own accounts. A Bluetooth tower speaker is also available.

Southern Sands is directly beachfront and offers an outdoor swimming pool, charcoal BBQ grills, elevator access, and on-site parking.
Parking permits are $42 each, with a maximum of 2 vehicles.
Shared full-size washer and dryer facilities are available on each floor and accept credit/debit cards. Laundry is approximately $3 per cycle.
Wi-Fi is included, and a tap-to-connect Wi-Fi block is located near the front door for easy connection.
Southern Sands is now a completely smoke-free property. Smoking is not allowed inside the condo, on balconies, or elsewhere on the property except in the covered designated smoking area near the BBQ area.
Location is one of the biggest advantages of Southern Sands 303. The complex is located along West Beach Boulevard just west of the main Gulf Shores intersection and is within easy walking distance of The Hangout, Gulf Shores Public Beach, restaurants, shopping, entertainment, ice cream, and local beach stores.

We liked that the property was on the beach and convenient to restaurants. We had a queen size bed and two twin beds. There was a pullout couch that we didn’t use. The water pressure was poor and the shower/toilet in master was a bit tight. It mentioned sleeps 6 but the table holds 4 and bar was small. Could have used another chair in addition to the couch for more comfort. I’d also recommend blackout curtains in the master bedroom—blinds didn’t block the light well and not sure how to solve for noise from neighbors banging around and we could hear them on their balcony in the bedroom.

The condo was a beautiful unit. I would like to have been left more garbage can liners since only one was left for the entire week in the condo. Additionally I would like to have at least two rolls of paper towels and additional toilet paper also. If possible if the condo is being cleaned and ready for someone to check in the same afternoon as someone leaving that morning could the ice maker be left on so that the tenants checking in would have ice available and not have to go out to get ice while the ice maker starts working.

Just what we needed. Relaxing quiet beautiful weather. Our condo was eveything that we were looking for, clean, spacious, and quiet.

The key pad was difficult to remember. It also would get stuck in the #4 and we’d have to start all over. Sometimes it would take 3-4 times before we could get it unlocked. The bed in the master bedroom was tooo soft. It still was a nice visit. The view of the beach was great!
