Cabanon "la Galinette" Ideally situated below the famous Corniche Kennedy, in the cove des "Bains de Mer chauds" (Malmousque).

Very quiet, waterfront (possibility of fishing from the balcony!).

Direct access to the sea, private inlet and Exceptional view.

Small fishing cottage of 16m2 well organized:
-nice kitchen fully equipped.
-2 seater sofa bed + small loft with 2 sleeping places.
-bathroom with shower, toilet, washbasin.
-in closet storage.
-small first-line outdoor sea table for breakfast and lunch to remember.

Velib station at 50m, also bus, downtown 5 minutes walk, shops (bakery, butcher, mill, restaurant and pizzeria within 100m)

I spent 6 of the most wonderful days & nights of my life in this cabanon. I did not want to leave. 00I'll start by saying I gave this property 5 stars across all categories except "accuracy of listing." The property has been upgraded & the owner must be too busy to update the interior photos :) It's so much nicer than the current interior pictures would suggest! There is a new futon with a very comfortable double size mattress, set up as a bed when you arrive. They've added beautiful turquoise curtains around the bed for privacy & light blocking. The loft bed upstairs also has a very comfortable double mattress & a new picket fence for safety all around. So cozy! Kids will love it! Adults will love it! It is the same temperature up there as down below & that's a thing I worried about. I brought a tiny rechargeable fan, which was perfect. The kitchen window is high enough that the breeze comes across the loft bed. There is ALWAYS a breeze at night. I slept so well up there, with my friend down below. Note: rodents come out late at night, so don't leave the door open when you go to sleep. Rodents are quite normal in a setting like this & honestly, anywhere warm in the world, so DON'T freak out. The kitchen now has a 2 burner induction stove top & a small but full-size refrigerator/freezer. A lovely weaved curtain over the doorway; when the door is open, it allows privacy & a breeze. The linen fee is well deserved, so bring your own bedding, or pay it. Seriously...

It's a unique property in a great location with a lovely view BUT it's not for everybody, so BEWARE!! No real bed! 50+ small slippery steps to go down from the outside to get to the small room and toilet that is unfortunately not very well maintained. A fresh coat of paint would make this place more welcoming! The view on a sunny day would turn all these negatives into positives, and in a few days the initial shock will go away and one could adopt. However, the dishonest add on fees was very upsetting. I made the reservation on 2/8/23 for two adults and made the full payment. I got an msg from the owner 2 weeks later asking for 45 more Euros for linen and cleaning. After I made the train booking and inform that I will arrive @ 8.00 p.m., I am told that it will be 20 more for late check in. Saida who checked us in was lovely, but when we told her that we will use the pullout sofa and the bunk to sleep (we paid for two adults), she informs Dominique by phone and was told that we need to pay another 20 the following day since we are not sleeping together and sharing the bunkbed. Listing states if you have 3 persons there will be an extra 20 charge, but this was a shock. If Dominique wants to charge for all these separately, she should be honest and have it on the listing. We were there for the Rugby World Cup, accommodations were tight and we were planning to rough out., but this stay was a poor experience to a otherwise lovely and fun visit to Marseille! Vive La France!!

I recently stayed at a cabin with a stunning view, but it didn't meet our expectations. The building was under renovation, which wasn't mentioned in the listing. The beach, advertised as private, was actually crowded with people playing loud music and drinking alcohol. Sneak-ins were also a concern. The oven didn't work, and we found black mold near the sofa bed. We left after five hours due to the mold. The host communicated well, allowed early check-in, and gave a partial refund. Despite the issues, I appreciate their efforts. Improvements and accurate descriptions would enhance future experiences.

Without doubt this is one of the most memorable places I have ever stayed! It is a small ,very rustic , but charming fisherman’s cabin in an amazing location. The views to the sea and the nearby islands are spectacular. You can literally swim from the front porch. Or fish!! The cabin is 2 mins walk to the bus stop with the trip into the old port taking 15 - 20 mins. Runs regular. Many amenities close by. Including a bar/ pizzeria with a very friendly and helpful owner. Fun to be there on Friday nights with the locals. The property manager was outstanding. Always there to help and with a very kind and caring attitude. I would stay here again “in a heartbeat “ and will recommend highly.

Nous avons passés quelques jours dans le cabanon avec une vue imprenable sur la mer, l'ile du Frioul et le château d 'If. Petit déjeuner sur la terrasse, calanque privée, soleil et le tout en.plein centre de Marseille. Accueil parfait. Séjour parfait. Attention vous n êtes pas entièrement seul non plus car il y a 6 cabanons. Pour ceux qui voudront faire du naturisme.

Wunderbare Lage, gut eingerichteter Cabanon, aber in der Hauptsaison nicht zu empfehlen. Die Nachbarn saßen praktisch vor meiner Eingangstür, auf dem Balkon ist bereits öffentlicher Raum, man muss immer wieder Leute vorbei lassen. Teenager feiern auf einer Plattform ca. 4 m entfernt mit Ghetto-Blastern, das hab ich nicht ausgehalten und bin nach der halben Woche abgereist. Schade!

Une hôtesse aux petits soins et un cabanon très bien aménagé où seul l'essentiel subsiste et où les couleurs évoquent à coup sûr les vacances. Un lieu idéal pour se ressourcer en regardant la mer et les bateaux des pêcheurs qui entrent et sortent des vallons alentours. L'esprit cabanon en somme!!

Un énorme Merci à vous, Dominique pour votre accueil attentionné et chaleureux. Le cabanon est très bien situé : le centre ville est facile d'accès, mais le lieu tellement hors du temps. Il donne la possibilité de découvrir Marseille de manière moins conventionnelle. Une fois la porte sur la corniche fermée, un havre de paix nous attend et un spectacle merveilleux nous est offert. Le cabanon de part définition est petit mais ici tellement bien agencé, la taille n'a aucune importance bien au contraire, la vue, du lit en mezzanine, de l'espace cuisine, sont juste magiques. Une chance que de pouvoir séjourner dans ce lieu. A bientôt Dominique certainement, et mille mercis ! Angèle

Kleine Einraum-Fischerhütte, einfach, aber gemütlich und funktional eingerichtet. Direkt am Meer, mit eigenem Zugang zu privater Badestelle. Vollkommen ruhig, (bis auf angenehmes Meeresrauschen). Wunderbarer Ausblick auf vorgelagerte Inseln und Marseille-Zentrum. Sehr angenehmes Viertel mit guter Restauration. Super Bäcker!Gute Busverbindung in die City, aber auch zu den südlichen Stränden und auch in die Calanques. Fahrradstation vor der Haustür. Zu Fuß ca. 30 Min. Uferpromenade bis ins Zentrum. Hochbett oder ausklappbare Schlafcouch. Liebenswürdige und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Flasche Wein, Pastis und andere Grundnahrungsmittel incl. Kaffee waren vorhanden. Heizung für kalte Tage. Ideal für zwei Personen, die keine Luxus-Suite brauchen und Ursprünglichkeit, Naturnähe und einen Schuss Romantik vorziehen. Wir waren begeistert!

Nous avons passé un séjour idyllique, c'est un petit endroit de paradis. On en prend plein les yeux, on ne se lasse pas du paysage, et le soir on voit un défilé de paquebot c'est tout juste magnifique. En plus, le cabanon est très bien situé, à deux pas du centre ville, on peut s'y rendre en vélo ou en bus tout est à proximité. De plus la propriétaire, a fait preuve d'une gentillesse extrême, elle nous a accueilli comme des petits princes et a tout fait pour que notre séjour soit agréable. A recommander à tous, vous ne le regretterai pas...

Onvergetelijke kerst in hartje Marseille. Op een steenworp afstand van t prachtige centrum, op een fantastisch plekje met alleen het geluid van de golven!! De studio is niet groot, maar voor ons groot genoeg en het uitzicht op zee is weergaloos. Unieke beleving!!! De ontvangst door Dominique was zeer hartelijk, ze had zelfs een flesje wijn voor kerstavond voor ons meegenomen. Dominique, merci pour tout et à la prochaine! Wij komen zeker terug!! Lieu enchanteur, les nuits sont bercées par la mer, le réveil parfumé à l'iode et les yeux éblouis par le soleil du sud. Le cabanon offre tout confort et nous transporte vers d'autres lieux. L' accueil chaleureux de la propriétaire et les petites attentions qui l’accompagnent, créent une atmosphère de sérénité ; C'était un week end particulier pour nous et ce lieu y est désormais attaché. Nous y retournerons et j'invite toutes les personnes qui ont besoin de calme, de dépaysement et de paix, de louer ce petit coin de paradis dans cette ville qui lorsque l'a découvre prends une place importante dans nos coeurs. Amitiés.

Slendide vue sur la mer, le chateau d'If et les îles du Frioul!! Et surtout, coucher de soleil assuré tous les soirs, depuis la fenêtre de la cuisine! et pour comble, c'est le bruit de la mer qui vous berce tous les soirs avant de vous endormir!! Merci beaucoup aux propriétaires si présents de m'avoir permis de vivre ça!! A refaire au plus vite!!

Bien embêtant à dire parce les places risquent d'être rares l'année prochaine ! Mais c'est le top ! Un acceuil chaleureux, un studio gai et confortable, on y vit bien, on y dort bien, du soleil à gogo et l'envie de sauter du balcon dans une mer propre, transparente et où on oublie la chair de poule des baignades en Bretagne. Tout à proximité, pas besoin de voiture , la pizzeria toute proche (miam miam), les libellulles,. On n'entend que le bruit de la mer, et des mouettes . Vue magnifique sur les Iles du Frioul et le Chateau d'If. Un grand merci à vous pour cette semaine fabuleuse , et une option pour les dix prochaines années, bien sûr . ..

Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve dans cette maisonnette décorée à merveille qui correspond parfaitement à la description ! Un coin de paradis en ville, face à la plage (on descend sur la plage en peignoir le matin pour prendre la température de la mer et on remonte.. je regrette d'habiter Paris parfois je vous le dis!) Tout est fait pour que les vacances soient réussies! Les repas sur la terrasse avec la mer comme seule invitée sont tout simplement géniaux! Nous avons été heureux de vous rencontrer, en espérant vous revoir, je vous souhaite une bonne continuation !! A bientot !

le cadre est tout simplement exceptionnel ! les petits déjeuners, les bains matinaux et au coucher du soleil avec la mer d'huile sont d'un agréable rare ! Gentillesse des propriétaires et cabanon extrêmement bien placé à côté de tout en plein Marseille Merci encore pour votre accueil !
