A beautiful and unique home stay along the river. The view was amazing and we loved the hammocks. The homestay is run by a lovely family who were so helpful and kind to us for our stay. The breakfast was really nice and there are free bicycles to explore. They very kindly arranged an earlier check in for us after our sleeper bus got in very early. Thank you for everything!

Such friendly staff, gorgeous views from the makeshift shipping container rooms. Free bicycle use, 15min cycle into town. The owner was a cave guide so is very knowledgable and can help with booking tours. Balconies shared with adjacent rooms (not for everyone but we didn’t mind). Very relaxed and chill vibe, really adds to the experience of being in Phong Nha :)
Very little sound proofing meant that someone walking up the stairs sounded like thunder , waking us up at 11pm or 6am! Could also hear conversations from rooms above and next door. Bring ear plugs! Very minimal facilities in the room but for a short stay it’s fine.

It is a good location if you are a backpacker and looking for a place to stay
Low noise cancelation, on site food is very limited.
Going to the river is not easy and fun
